Deerman made a big statement in 2023 with her NFR Open win on bay gelding "Whopper." Since then, she's been leveraging that win to scoop up cash at the 2024 winter rodeos—taking a break in the spring to finish her masters thesis—and jumping right back on the ProRodeo trail to become the No. 5 high money earner over Cowboy Christmas with more than $10K won.
