Hellllooo everyone and Happy New Year !🎊
Welcome to the first walk & talk w/ Rae of 2026!
For the beginning of the year we will start off with a healing series ❤️🩹.
How many of us can relate to Chanel ? Thing after thing has hurt you ( betrayal , hurt , loneliness, divorce, rejection, diagnosis) and we continue on like “everything is okay” . Well the truth is sometimes it’s not ! And it’s okay to admit that . Throughout my journey with God he has shown me things that has hurt me and I too like Chanel just kept walking like I was “Good” …but God knew deep down I was struggling in silence .
If that is you I want you to know you’re not alone and I want you to know God wants to help you heal! At some point in life we get tired of faking it , tired of carrying all the weight , just tireddd! And right now if that’s you … I want you to first recognize it and be honest… because it’s okay not to be okay you are not alone !
Tune into the healing series every week on Monday! It just might bless you ❤️🙏🏽!

I made this about three weeks ago, but it just blessed me and hope it blesses you. On this weeks walk and talk with Rae…
Forgetting the former things, unlearning old things and letting go, all require work . It’s not an easy journey but it is required if we want to grow. Sometimes we hold onto attitudes, mindset, people, situations, heartbreaks, pain, etc. but no matter what it is, I encourage you to let it go. Letting go is a hard process and something that I work through every single day, so if you’re in that space right now I want you to know you’re not alone.
The verse that I mentioned comes from Isaiah 43:18-20 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
This is a reminder that we have to let go in order to make room for more. Maybe we are making room for more wisdom, more discernment, an open door, an opportunity, or a relationship, but the truth is… we won’t know until we let go. Just like I mentioned about my phone storage not allowing me to make room for more videos, the same goes for us if we don’t let things go. I realize that when we dwell on the past, we miss out on life and opportunities. Our past is meant to teach us, but it’s not meant to be a life sentence.
So this is for anyone who’s struggling with guilt, shame, uncertainty, bitterness, hurt, disappointment , or whatever else you’re going through… let it go because you don’t have to carry it any longer. Cry through , talk about it , pray about it but let it go.
So I leave with this question :
Every day you have a choice…so what will you choose today? To move forward or to stay stuck. To settle or to grow. To let go or to hold on?

On this week’s walk & talk w/ Rae 🌲💚.
A tree has purpose …It absorbs CO2 and gives us oxygen. It enriches the soil. It provides shade and shelter. It is a home for many animals. A trees purpose is important!🌎
One thing we do notice about the tree, it changes during each season. In summer its leaves are full. The leaves are different colors and it looks strong and healthy. In fall the leaves start falling off and changing colors, we notice a shift in the way the tree looks. In winter the tree looks bare and looks weak because the leaves are gone. And in spring, the leaves start growing again almost like the tree is regaining its strength.
What I admire about the tree is no matter what season it’s in. It’s still going to perform the roles it’s called to do.
The same goes for us …. No matter what season we’re in we have to stand on a firm foundation of who we are in God. Things change, people change, seasons change but God and his word does not (Hebrews 13:8)
No matter what season we are in .. we are called to serve the Lord, we are called to be lights in this world and we are called to love our neighbor as ourselves. That will never change no matter what season you’re in .
I encourage you this week…
1. Figure out what season you’re in
2. Go to the Bible and figure out what your role is as a believer
3. Be honest with God about where you are and about what you’re experiencing
Lastly, God cares about you. In Jeremiah 1:5 (amplified) “Before I formed you in the womb I knew[a] you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
God created you and gave you a purpose and a plan regardless of what season you’re in today, God still created you with a purpose and a plan.
Don’t let your season take you away from God or the thing Gods called you to do!

Hey everyone and welcome back to another episode of the Breaking Moment Podcast! It’s been a while but y’all I have a good topic for us to talk about … break ups. Break ups are hard, it requires letting go and grieving but it’s required in this journey. This episode, specifically we will be talking about breaking up with ourselves. As we continue to grow in Christ it requires us to let go of our old man daily!!! It requires us to renew our minds to God and his word daily!! So, in better terms we have to break up with us!
This week I want you to reflect on the parts of you that you’ve been holding onto, but God wants you to let go of. What do you need to break up with? Is it people pleasing, pride, procrastination, being a perfectionist, settling, disobedience, staying in our comfort zones. While this can be a difficult thing to do, I want you to remember … you don’t have to do it alone because God is with you every step of the way!

Ephesians 4: 17-24
