The Ohio AAA Blue Jackets are one of Central Ohio’s most influential youth hockey programs, and we’ve seen some notable alumni make it to the NHL, including Columbus, Ohio native and Avalanche forward Kiefer Sherwood, who is of course the older brother to the Blue Jackets’ Kole Sherwood!
We’ve also seen Jets’ center and Columbus native Jack Roslovic, Bruins forward and Dublin, Ohio native Sean Kuraly, and Blackhawks’ defenseman Connor Murphy make it to the big show. On this week’s episode of The Cannon Cast, President & 16U Head Coach of the AAA Blue Jackets Ed Gingher talked with us about:
How the program started and where it's at today
The importance of molding good hockey players and good people
What it's like to watch his players succeed at every level
and much more! Be sure to follow @AAABluejackets on Twitter and join the conversation at jacketscannon.com!
