The legendary Phil Soucy @catman406 joins Chris @chrispowell_1775 for this episode of the Houndsman XP Podcast.

Phil Soucy is a world renowned taxidermist that does amazing work and best known for his special talent of mounting the big cats. Hunting lodges across the world feature Phil’s work and is south after as the place for a mature cat to go to be properly memorialized in taxidermy art. 

Phil and Chris discuss how to properly preserve an animal to make a taxidermist’s job more successful. From loading your gun with the right bullet, caliber selections, archery equipment, proper skinning, trasnport from the field to shipping to the taxidermist, it’s all here.
