  • 3 Questions To Ask Yourself To Attract High-Caliber Clients

Knowing your ideal client isn’t necessarily going to increase your revenue, increase your profit or grow your business. In this episode, Kinsey shows you how to identify a higher caliber client that’s actually ready to invest in themselves and invest in your solution (and make a change).

    Do not miss these highlights:

01:40 In your season of rest, recovery, and reflection, give yourself permission to be there.

01:54 Knowing when it is time to sprint or when to start to pick up the pace in your stride or your jog.

02:07 We just wrapped up Wealthy Coach Week 2023, and it was so good!

02:17 One of the things that we went deep into is identifying who are your wealthy clients.

02:24 Build a high-revenue, high-impact, profitable coaching business, without burning yourself out.

03:00 When it comes to your paid programs and services, make sure that you are targeting somebody that has the extra funds to invest in you and in themselves.

03:27 It's also about people that are ready and willing to do the work they need to do to get the result that you can help them get.

03:51 These are really important to consider when you are narrowing in on the premium version of your client and putting your time, your energy, and your resources into it.

04:11 There are three questions that I want you to ask yourself in order to really think about who your premium client is.

04:43 To help you accelerate your results by zoning in on where the opportunity is.

05:21 First question is how far along in their own journey my client needs to be in order for them to be a good fit for my offer.

05:53 What we want to do is really understand where our clients are, and where ideally we want them to be in their transformative journey with us.

07:07 I want you to ask yourself, where is my best brilliant utilized?

07:38 When you're marketing and selling your offer as a coach, you will serve differently.

08:32 Helping them to get to that next level, versus somebody that has just had the awareness.

09:17 Second question that you can ask yourself is, what are they already investing in order to solve the problem that you can help them solve?

10:01 There is a difference between somebody that says they want results, but they're not willing to put the work in. Versus somebody that says yes, they want results, and they're willing to invest time, willing to invest energy, and effort, in order to get results.

10:31 It's super exhausting to work with people blaming you as the coach for their lack of results.

10:44 It gives you clarity and it gives you lots of angles to draw from, in order to really think about that type of person as your perfect client.

10:56 You can leverage those things to show them why my solution is better, more, a better fit for them, etc.

11:30 It really helps you to think creatively out of the box. Show and demonstrate more value to your ideal clients, specifically, that higher caliber client.

11:53 Now number three, how are they demonstrating whether or not they have a growth mindset or a fixed mindset?

12:07 People that say they want something, but they're actually not willing to go after it.

12:22 What qualifies a client as somebody that has a growth mindset?

12:52 If you can think about the things that those people value that have a growth mindset.

13:28 If you can really zoned in on that variation of your client. What they're doing and the values they hold. Show them that you match a lot of those values.

13:56 Come to the space and say, “I'm going to help you get to a million without sacrificing the life that you have with your family and really unleashing your fullest brilliance.” This carries over into all areas of life.

14:23 Those are theories you can ask yourself before you write and create new offers.

14:47 If you could just journal on this for a little bit and bring more of this into all areas of your marketing and selling, you will find that you are going to start becoming a match for your best type of clients.

  • Becoming A Six Figure Speaker with Megan McCaleb

Whether you want to be an official “speaker” or not, it’s likely that you desire to drive impact for others. This means the world is your stage. In this conversation, I bring on a very special guest, Megan McCaleb, who is an expert at public speaking especially for those that know they have a story inside of them waiting to be unleashed.

You’ll gain so much insight into listening to Megan share how she’s been able to build a profitable business around her unique brilliance and how she’s able to capture the hearts of audiences (on and off stage).

    Do not miss these highlights:

00:55 Special guest and a second time in this podcast is Megan McCaleb.

01:23 She is a comedian, and now teaching the principles of improv and comedy to help businesses and coaches.

04:04 What she considered a success is doing things in her groove in the most effective way with her skill set and with her passion.

05:06 When you are doing it from that space of fun and potential, then people will see why you love it, and then it works better.

06:04 Success didn't just happen overnight. When we expect things to happen faster for us, or we expect them to go a certain way, that's where the disappointment comes in.

07:52 The imposter syndrome will come in. But then if you literally have it in proof, you can see it.

08:37 What was the true hustle, or the struggle, or the journey? To be successful, one always have a long track record of continuing to put in the work.

09:26 The craft of building a business that you want. Doing things in the way that you used to fantasize about and really intentionally visualize it.

10:12 Invest in business coaching and really take everything seriously.

11:07 What does putting in the work or committing to something, mean and look like?

    11:21 Building the business stages.

12:40 Always think about things that can help you refine your public speaking and other abilities.

12:55 The work is, if you have the vision, you have to be the one that actually does it.

13:29 You have to be honest about which things could really make money and which things can't. It's a lot of adjusting and pivoting.

14:11 Constantly out there refining her message. Staying true to who she was, and being honest about which elements are actually working and which ones are not.

15:56 She is very mindful of who she allows in her space, personally and professionally.

16:40 Listening to what the other speakers were saying. Getting a vibe for what they were talking about so that she could enhance what's going on.

17:55 She's gonna soak in it for a second, then she will take an action. It's exactly what she coaches people to do. She has to practice what she preaches.

18:32 Not just making money or making an impact. But it's also this deep self-exploration, and learning to know and love ourselves.

19:34 Paying attention to what she does when she's by herself. What types of thoughts are going through her head, and how she spends her day.

21:21 A desire to do something, but it just required a little bit more waiting.

    21:32 The concept of Ovation.

22:00 Always thinking about how she can help people. She very much believes that a lot of her success comes from serving.

22:46 She had to keep experiencing things herself. Taking inventory and listening to what her clients were asking for.

24:23 The things that she literally lacked in order to get paid more as a speaker, to show up as an authority, to look legit.

24:42 To pull together the whole reason she does what she does. She remembered feeling incredibly compelled to share a very personal story.

25:29 The theme has always remained the same. Just staying true to herself, to her own feeling of being compelled to share.

25:40 Ultimately, we all just need lots of positive stories, especially where unpleasant things have happened.

26:13 We can get scared and want to shift gears but that can send us back even more if we do that too swiftly.

26:38 There's so much she could be successful in as a multi-passionate and multi-faceted person when it comes to narrowing in on that scalable offer.

27:10 What is program Ovation? What it looks, and feels like. What does she love most about this offer of her business?

27:25 Ovation is a training cohort where people wanting to create their own six-figure business around something they're passionate about using the vessel of public speaking primarily.

28:02 Their kit of information to present themselves as professionals in their own space.

28:13 She shows them how to use all the missteps that she has done and to get to those quicker.

28:47 Finding out their “why”, usually something really drastic occurrence that was a pain point.

28:58 Story of overcoming, and how they have almost unconsciously committed their lives to have other people not have to suffer what they did, and they didn't even realize it.

29:35 It's about connecting humanity, and how can she share these stories in a way that will intrigue people to want to hear more?

30:45 How to actually find joy in merging professional skill sets with a deep-rooted passion to better serve clients.

31:33 Create content and share a message that can dip into hearts. Share from there rather than from the neck, and the brain, and all the rules.

32:47 Connect the dots between where you were and where you are now and make that a compelling message.

33:02 Be honest with yourself about where you still are with the story.

33:31 Embrace vulnerability to be in a space that connects and creates impact.

34:51 Picking something you feel like you are comfortable sharing now and it should be true to the story. That's when people are gonna trust you more.

36:08 Figure out what your role was in that story. Decide to begin today to write the story the way that you want it to be.

37:59 Encouraging people to claim their stage and carry that movement with grace.

39:08 Get to honor every single soul involved. Even if it is only one person because that one person that day might only be you.

39:19 If you are sharing your own message, listened to your own stuff regularly.

39:41 Listen to yourself and the types of messages that you're sharing, then refine them.

40:41 If you think it's worth sharing, then it's probably worth exploring. Continue to really do this from a good place.

41:09 How you show up for yourself should determine how you show up for others.

42:01 Part of that journey of showing up for your life and committing to the things that you wanted.

  • Build Your Coaching Business Around Your Perfect Client

Building a thriving coaching business requires you to also love your business. It’s difficult to grow something you’re not fully aligned with. In order to do this, you’ll want to design your entire model around ONE THING: your perfect person.

To apply to work with Kinsey, join the waitlist here: kinseymachos.com/femalefounders

    Do not miss these highlights:

01:32 New chapter, new vibes, New Year, and while that's all fun and nice, the energy and the emotion that comes with the actual transitional period is the most enlightening, and also the most frightening.

02:11 When you are evolving into a bigger and bolder version of yourself, you're also shedding old habits, old behaviors, or old thought patterns, which is not a clean process.

03:42 Here we are, we're showing up and we are going to roll into the New Year with excitement.

03:56 Designing your business for your perfect client.

04:36 How designing your perfect client or perfect business connects to discipline, focus, patience, and delayed gratification.

05:16 We waste a lot of time, energy, and effort, chasing something that doesn't needed to be chased.

05:36 In this episode, Kinsey offers the concept of designing your perfect business or client, that can save you wasted time, energy, and money.

06:13 Going through all the painful lessons that she has to learn is how she gets the right to share this.

06:34 After listening, she wants you to walk away with curiosity and a fresh set of eyes, looking at your business model and making sure that you are working smarter and not harder.

07:22 Let us go back to that eighty-twenty theory.

07:35 Eighty percent of your revenue is generated from twenty percent of your best clients.

08:01 Put ourselves at risk by doing things or spending time on things that may produce some result, but it's not a multiplied result.

08:30 One offer, one message, one platform. You do not need hardly anything to get to a 100K.

08:55 You don't need a lot. You just need a good offer. Meaning you are serving a client that wants what you possess, and that you serve them well.

09:29 As you're starting to grow up in revenue, what tends to happen is you will layer on more complexity within marketing, sales, and operations.

09:47 You're moving away from the core central point of what your business is meant for, which is a perfect offer for a perfect client.

10:05 Master your one offer to make it better for that one perfect client.

10:20 Consider how you can serve less at a higher quality.

10:46 The constraints within that mean that you're saying “no” more often than you are saying “yes”. That can be very, very scary for an entrepreneur.

11:38 The person that will get results. The person that you want to help more.

12:07 Help a version of your client that isn't as far along in their journey as they need to be in order for you to get the maximum results.

13:03 Your business is not meant to serve everybody.

13:29 Think about the highest value that you can bring out, that will drive your marketing, your selling, and your offers.

13:53 Meet the people that are ready and going to buy, and they're going to pay the right price for it.

14:05 You're naturally going to grow because you're getting better and bigger results for the right people. You're going to be attracting more of those people.

14:14 You're going to have incredible social proof. Your brilliance is spent and being transferred to your best people.

14:26 When you work with unfit clients, it will not feel fun for you. That means you may be getting paid but your energy is depleting.

14:42 You might be falling out of love with your business a little bit like this. These are the things that are at risk for you.

15:21 Highly consider the idea of value over volume.

16:05 When you don't have a match there, this is where that burnout occurs.

16:24 The need for more will not improve unless you discover the root of that problem.

16:38 Do you love yourself enough to put the boundaries and the constraints around you?

17:01 You are more at risk as you grow as a leader online, and a leader in your community. People are going to want more of you.

17:24 If you're not prioritizing your needs and your desires over the needs and desires of other people, you will burn out.

17:44 When you protect your energy, you're able to show up in your full brilliance all the time, which will magnetize the right people for you.

18:00 So don't try to build a business that can meet the needs and desires of more than several types of people. Focus on one, just one.

19:40 Think about your favorite clients. They paid you the price without any fuss. You loved working with them, and they got results.

20:15 This requires so much discipline and constraint, probably so much so that you're not even going to see it when you're straying away from that core model.

21:35 Having those boundaries around you, your energy, your time, your access, is going to be super important.

22:14 Just stay in your lane and your zone of genius. Build a better, faster, and amazing business that doesn't kill you energetically, emotionally, and physically.

  • How To Have A Record-Breaking Revenue Year

How would it feel if you arrived at the end of 2023 and smashed your most audacious revenue goals? More importantly, what would it feel if you were OBSESSED with the journey that got you there?

This is what it’s about. There’s no point in making a lot of money if you don’t enjoy doing it.

Tune in to discover the moves you can make in order to create your record-breaking revenue year in 2023.

Join us for our most popular annual event, Wealthy Coach Week: https://kinseymachos.com/wealthycoach

    Do not miss these highlights:

02:57 Did you start your new year planning earlier this year?

03:44 It’s okay not to be okay sometimes. Be encouraged, you're not alone, even in your close circle, women feel similar feelings.

04:20 We are coming into the new year with the fresh energy of a fresh new year.

05:22 Something to pay attention to is how you follow the seasonal cycles of your business matching the true seasons.

05:52 January is when you get back in the swing of things. Finding your rhythm again.

06:18 In Project Management, you'll be hearing the sprint cycles. It's sort of the rapid-fire of initiatives.

07:28 Backed by popular demand, we're kicking off a new year. We want to invite you to the “Wealthy Coach Week”.

07:56 We will help you unlock and design your record-breaking revenue year.

08:24 It's not always about strategy. It's also about the intangible relation to your money.

08:39 Compilation of training and coaching, and it's for five days. Each day is designed to go deeper into the core element of helping you design your road map,

09:04 Day one, engage the “mind” to help you identify yourself as a wealthy coach.

09:22 On day two, we're going to talk about “designing a map.”

09:47 Choosing a method and designing a map. It's hard to get somewhere if you don't know where you're going.

10:24 This is where people start to get confused or overwhelmed. And generally, more often than not, you don't hit your goals.

10:52 You have to have a plan, and if you stick to that plan, you will more likely to succeed.

11:48 We're going to go deep there on days one and two, of wealthy coach week. We're going to design the map game.

12:07 Most people don't even set goals, they don't have a revenue target.

12:47 The new year energy that initially drives you forward quickly fizzles out. And more often than not, quarter one never goes as planned.

13:05 It's really hard to stay as planned if you can not self-coach yourself or have somebody guide you through to stay on track.

13:19 If you don't have a sustainable map to get you through the entire year as your compass, you will fizzle out, and it will be so hard to stay the course.

13:32 On Day three, we're going to talk about the “method”. There are so many different ways to grow your coaching business.

13:58 The method that you will need to choose is the method that is aligned with your personal goals, your personality, and what you desire to have in your business.

14:09 We will introduce particular methods to you, but more importantly, package them in a way to give you the three core pillars of a sustainable business.

14:37 Stay in the method which again goes back to the map and not get distracted.

14:46 Day four is about your “message.”

14:53 We call this “the million dollar message” because one message can take you to millions.

15:24 That one message is going to inform if people buy from you or not. It's going to impact your whole marketing.

15:33 On day five, we are going to talk about the “moves.” We're gonna talk about what's next for you going from here to there.

15:54 We're gonna talk about what levers to pull next, what that looks like for your.

15:56 On first quarter, you want to do some hot seat coaching to make sure that you feel super clear on how to move the needle forward in your business and in your life.

16:08 This is a five-day workshop of “wealthy coach week.” We're going to help you design your record-breaking revenue year. And you guys, literally, it's dirt cheap.

16:41 You get the full workshop, you get hot seat coaching, you get an action guide that can literally be your compass for the rest of the year, you get a pop up group, and you get women to connect with and collaborate with.

17:09 We know that this is going to really elevate all of us together as women. So that we can kick off the year with so much potency, and power, and just that magnetism that's within us all.

17:58 Year 2023 is going to be so good, you guys. So the link is in the in the show notes, get in, get that early bird discount.

18:19 We will have this is in a live workshop. We will package the replays into your members portal. So once you sign up, you'll get to log into your portal, you'll have some extra goodies in there.

18:40 So wealthy coach week, it's coming in strong, and it's going to be a really good year guys. So I'll see you there.

Mistakes To Avoid When Growing A Community As Part of Your Paid Program

    Do not miss these highlights:

02:35 It's been such a beautiful year, and I (Kinsey), always do or usually do an episode where I'm just reflecting on lessons learned for the year.

02:58 The core concepts or the really big shifts that you'll be seeing in the coming year and how they apply to you.

03:23 It's really just setting the stage for the year. What do you want it to look like? What are your targets? What are you focusing on?

04:18 As I've been setting the industry trends and have been listening to a lot of the experts in this space, and have also for my own observations, what things have been changing.

05:03 I really want to offer the five trends to look out for in 2023, and how they apply to you from the perspective of my own lens, but also what I'm hearing and seeing at large.

05:32 Just doing what you need to do to create content that converts and serves clients, there really isn't much more to worry about.

06:03 Now, if you're growing to multiple six or even seven figures, this is where we really get to have a lot of fun with some testing and layering in your marketing, your messaging, and your selling efforts.

06:14 Last episode, I talked about Leveraged Marketing, which is again, another advanced technique if you're growing beyond six figures.

06:25 It’s about your capacity to take on additional things because you have the basic fundamentals.

07:01 Let's talk about the five trends you need to be aware of as a coach in the online space as it applies to your business, and how the industry is shifting,

07:11 Number one, attention span is shorter than it's ever been before.

07:27 So if you think you have a certain amount of seconds to capture someone's attention with your content, that actually has slightly gone down.

08:36 This means that you need to have a more clear message, simple.

09:03 How quickly you can grab somebody's attention and convert that attention into cash.

10:39 If you don't articulate the problem and solution you're providing, you will lose that attention, or you will never gain it in the first place.

11:43 Let's talk about number two, it’s about Organic Marketing.

11:59 My expertise is Organic Marketing. It is what I had leveraged to grow to my first 100k and even beyond. But those who have never actually mastered Organic Marketing, they were only doing paid ads.

13:38 We also did paid ads, but we actually did it so well this year, and I'm super proud of this.

13:58 Seasonal leaders and experts in the industry, are now focusing on Organic Marketing so they can see those profit margins grow.

14:37 When I am going to hire somebody, whether it's a contractor or even an employee, the first place I go to is social media.

15:28 People used to go to Google reviews. I know a lot of those are still being used, but now it's all about social proof.

16:07 So what I really want to offer here is already good news for most of you who are already using organic marketing. But this is where you get to really become a master.

16:32 Turning followers into clients organically first, is going to be such a huge benefit for you.

16:44 So imagine when you are ready to invest a little bit more into advertising strategy.

17:10 The future of this space is having that core platform, that core message, and that following, as the social proof.

17:23 Now, let's talk about number three, which is in relation to this, but a little bit more tactically is video.

17:32 If you look at any of the trends in marketing, everything points to video. I think this has been a rising trend over the last couple years.

18:04 When you have the video component, you add a such a deeper layer of intimacy, and people connect with you much better.

18:44 No doubt, this is something that we recommend for all of our clients, especially at 10K level, is having at least one weekly live video.

19:16 I was literally so terrified of speaking. This was actually a story that I had adopted for myself for the longest time. I had public speaking anxiety.

20:15 It’s ironic to have that perceived weakness, but then still desire the strength of that.

20:32 The only way that we develop our voice is to use it. So I was starting to build some online presence.

21:30 The skill that's developed is not just speaking. It's being able to come up with ideas and unlock that creativity, and really just learn how to be more compelling.

22:05 If you're somebody that's resisting it, I encourage you to lean away in 2023.

22:39 Now, let's talk about number four. This is directly related to your Coaching Offers.

22:58 This is the upcoming trend of coaching. If you look at the service industry, people crave personalization and customization.

23:23 If you have a group coaching program, make sure that you have in there something that allows people to get that personalized touch.

24:12 There's so many different ways to design your scalable offer. This is what we do with you inside our Female Founders Board group.

24:34 Now lastly is community. People who want to be a part of something.

25:14 But at the most tactical level, this is a free Facebook group community.

25:28 If you haven't already, definitely go back to the podcast episode I did a couple of weeks ago around the community for paid programs.

25:58 I'm not just talking about growing your Facebook group. I'm also talking about the coaching space; your purpose, your calling.

27:18 When it comes to a community, it is that longevity.

27:45 How willing are you to invest in your communities, invest in your movement. Show up for your purpose, invest in that purpose.

27:55 When you think of all five of these together, it actually gives you a really powerful strategy for 2023.

28:41 Think about your strategy. There's going to be details and nuances to every little thing, but in short, this is your strategy.

30:34 We actually simplify and we focus on doing less but doing better, and having a strategic plan that can grow your reach and your revenue.

31:30 My team and I have been sitting down and spending the last couple of weeks strategically planning for 2023.

31:40 I know anybody in our proximity will also experience that moment for themselves. So get on the waitlist for FFB.

32:11 If you are listening to this, and it's still 2022 I hope you have a fabulous new year. If you're in the 2023 new year. Happy New Year!

  • Leveraged Marketing

When you’ve got your offer dialed in and you’re feeling more rhythm in your marketing, the next step is for you to create more leverage with what’s already working.

In today’s podcast episode, I talk about a concept called Leverage Marketing. This will be the one core element to your growth to 200K+ (with less effort).

When you implement Leveraged Marketing well, you will be able to:

    • Consistently fill your cohorts with clients with one core client acquisition method.
    • Get known for your brilliance in a much more expansive way.
    • Build your pipeline full of high-quality leads so you’ll never run out of clients.
    • Create more control in your revenue (like flipping a “switch” and being able to predict your monthly revenue).

At this point in your business, as you reach 200K, 500K or even 1M, your biggest discipline will be built within the constraints of doing LESS (but better).

    Female Founder's Board Waitlist: https://kinseymachos.com/femalefounders

    Do not miss these highlights:

03:06 Let's talk about Leverage Marketing. This is a really fun concept that Kinsey has adopted.

03:07 She wanted to bring more of this in the industry because for her, this is ultimately the key to success when you're starting to grow your business.

03:45 In the 10k Content Collective, you'll be learning how to get clients by mastering the fundamentals of online business.

03:59 If you don't have those fundamentals, you can't pull a lever, or create leverage in anything.

04:12 People try to bypass a lot of the basics, and a lot of these key critical steps.

04:26 People are selling them the strategies and the super advanced things without really having the fundamentals in place in their business.

04:49 You just need to know how to master getting clients with your organic content, or your organic conversation, and that's the fastest path to clients now.

05:02 In the 10k Content Collective, part of the method that we teach you is leveraging the easiest points, in what you already have, to get clients.

05:21 You just have to grow your proficiency as a coach, and learn what your people need. And the only way you can do that is to coach clients and get paid coaching clients.

05:43 You do all those things, or you create all those things through the journey of coaching clients.

06:00 The basic business practice is, you just need to know how to market to somebody and sell them something they want, period.

06:18 In the 10k Content Collective, we teach you these fundamentals in the most basic way.

06:26 First clear the clutter of what you think you need in order to grow faster.

06:34 Second, get coached so that you work through the mindset piece, which is huge in our program.

06:38 Third, we teach you how to create content in a way that converts followers faster, without you needing to work harder, or add bells and whistles to your website.

07:02 In our 10k Content Collective community, they're getting clients right away just with these super small shifts.

07:15 Then you're starting to really see the potential. Your belief and your competence is getting bigger. You're starting to work with clients to get them results.

07:39 Having a proven and tested offer. Something that somebody wants, and also is proven to get results is another thing.

07:58 This isn't by putting them through a curriculum, or modules, or anything like that.

08:01 This is the first phase of business, where we highly recommend you work with people intimately, and get them the result they came for. It's the easiest thing to sell.

09:50 The bridge is from solopreneur, getting clients consistently here and there. Now to this entrepreneur slash CEO ready to really step up the game.

10:11 This is where we meet our clients in the Female Founders Board, where we work with them personally in tandem to expose them to the next level of women that are growing to 200k or 500k million-dollar businesses.

10:28 Part of that piece is Leverage Marketing. It's a machine that we build together that allows you to market, and sell, and enroll, groups of people at a time to create that stream of revenue and reach.

11:05 So you create interest, and you build that awareness. Likely it's going to create action on behalf of an ideal client or somebody in your audience that then leads them to enroll into your program, product, or service.

11:24 How do you bring volumes of people into your programs, products, and services at a time, is what we refer to as Leverage Marketing.

11:56 To be able to acquire clients at volume, you have to have a machine that enables you to do that.

12:34 Every client is different. We build that model together with your offerings.

13:33 What we call Leverage Marketing, is when you take a marketing asset and it turns into something that produces for you over and over and over again.

13:50 This is how we really start to dip into new territory in serving more people, and growing your income, but also protecting your own time and energy.

14:10 You have to have more control over your client acquisition processes.

14:27 And so we create these lever points in your business that create more of that predictability for you.

14:53 Challenge our Leverage Marketing through our unique challenge method.

15:26 It's the things afterward that also create that holistic process for your client to speed up that sales cycle.

16:11 We have stats that we've pulled within our business that shows the average length of our sales cycle from, when they come to know us or come into our ecosystem, to becoming a client.

16:50 But again, it's not just about the challenge, it's that complete process.

17:11 You put in the same amount of effort to create, the one asset, the one content. And then that effort is amplified.

17:30 This is why it's so powerful to have these machines in your business. Once you start to grow out of the basics, you don't grow out of them.

18:10 You have to be very intentional with what you want your Leverage Marketing to look and feel like.

18:21 When you really think about why you do what you do, it's for the client.

18:53 It's not about just leveraging your time. You want to protect the integrity of your brand.

19:25 There's a lot of fear there. There's a lot of misconceptions. There's a lot of wrong ways to do it.

20:05 It really is personalized to your own desires and how you serve your clients.

20:35 Talk about the advancement of Leverage Marketing, and how to take a super cold lead into a hot buyer as quickly as possible without sacrificing their results.

21:00 If Leverage Marketing is the epitome of your time, money, energy leverage, then you're delivering a 90-minute masterclass,

21:25 There's an art and science to it. Kinsey confidently feels that the team has mastered this and has cracked the code.

22:13 We want to invite you, this is the work we do together personally, inside Female Founders Board. We will be opening doors soon and so definitely get on the waitlist.

  • Overcoming Your Fear of Group Coaching & Scaling Your High-Ticket Offer with Callan Faulkner

If you’re wondering what it looks like to grow a high-demand, high-income business with your clients' results at the forefront, this interview with a special guest Callan Faulkner, is a must listen.

Callan shares her journey from exiting corporate to making 6-figures fast and then learning how to scale her offer so she could earn back more time while still providing a high-quality service to her clients.

Listen in as Callan and Kinsey share similar experiences and the values they hold as experts in their industries.

    Do not miss these highlights:

00:50 Special guest this episode Callan Faulkner.

02:03 Her background was a technology consultant in sales. She was doing sales selling CRM implementations.

03:17 In a lightbulb moment if she can teach land investors how to automate their business, and build systems with a little bit of the background on the rational side.

04:00 This fear around security and stability against going into entrepreneurship full time.

04:25 But we have to recognize that no job is secure or stable.

04:33 What you have created for yourself, or the skills that you've learned, creates more stability and security because nobody can take that away.

04:51 The ups and downs of the emotional rollercoaster of owning your own business.

05:05 She was able to fully exit and not go back to her old job. She now starting a business with really good affiliate relationships.

06:09 You can believe in yourself and believe that there are so many ways to make money.

06:31 Our biggest challenge in climbing that ladder of entrepreneurship is, the focus and the discipline not to take the opportunity.

06:45 Once you get to a certain level, you know you have a skill set, so you need to have your blinders on to focus.

07:45 Callan’s life was when she was still working in the firm versus what her life is like now?

08:40 The nagging stress and anxiety of making less than six figures, and grinding her butt to the ground.

09:21 But now for the most part, she’s been able to shift her life around, put herself and her family first.

09:59 First iteration of her program, the Eight Week Course. How has it evolved and some insight of where it is now.

11:21 She created a course. She doesn't have a curriculum.

11:32 She didn't have it built. She didn't know what she was demoing. She was just creating new things every week.

11:47 She learned she wanted to give everything. So after that, she learned that it was too dense, and it was too much in eight weeks.

12:15 So she tried to flip it on how she can teach something that is not as dense. A little bit easier to roll with.

12:31 One of the things she learned in our Mastermind Group is to really focus on one offer.

13:01 Through this evolution, she just got more niched and more narrow by taking clients to take it on.

13:27 The clarity comes from working with those clients. So just get clients.

14:08 This is a common trait of every successful entrepreneur. The willingness, just trying it, just doing it.

15:11 It doesn't need to be so dense. They just need to know we're all in this together. I'm setting goals for you, I have expectations for you. It's a completely different energy shift.

15:42 Now she has evolved, She is now offering her core offer and it was really a high touch.

16:00 As she gets more clients, and gotten really good at what he do, people are chasing her down.

16:45 How did she even take in more clients when she’s doing all this one to one work?

19:31 She was grinding. She would spend Friday afternoons do about four, three or four back to back one to one sessions.

19:58 As she was executing, she realized that there is no chance that she’s going to be able to do that without sacrificing her mind, her body, and her spirit.

20:37 She is tired, but the learning is growing. There's a proficiency there as she grew as a consultant, as a coach.

23:08 She then started to think about what is this next iteration look like if she wants to help more people?

25:06 One of her fears was, not only her team not believing it, but just having fears around it.

25:50 How can they deliver a quality or even a more qualitative service?

27:35 Alex Hormozi in his book, he says make offers that are so good, people will feel stupid saying no to it.

27:53 Her team did a 15 minute intro call just to touch base, hey this is what to expect, because it’s all about expectations.

28:09 Having some setup to make sure clients understand the flow.

28:44 So now clients come back together, and then we do one more follow-up session.

29:43 One of the biggest misconceptions is, group coaching is less quality than one-to-one coaching, and also one of the biggest gifts that we can give to our clients in these scalable offers. Whether it's a Mastermind Group Coaching or whatever is that community of people.

30:35 A whole amazing ecosystem of learning that you've created now and you're even maximizing your time.

32:06 Now the team gets to be a part of that mission with you. It's not just like completing tasks or checking things off.

32:44 All these things, and what is also important to both Callan and Kinsey is the health component. Actually taking care of each body, and calling one's soul.

33:42 How did Callan see health, and what's most important to her in that regard?

36:04 There'll be some days where we're just not 100%. But as much as she possibly can, to feel amazing so she can live life to the fullest.

36:53 What we are doing enough in our perspective, but never really considered the longevity piece.

37:17 If you can just do the things that allow your muscles, and your bones, and all the things you need to do what they need to do, and stay healthy.

39:04 Something happens when your brain goes into a rest period. It's called the default neural network.

39:31 The scientists also call it the imagination network. Our brain goes into a different type of function where we're just in a creative space.

40:05 You can't have inputs if you’re trying to get into that creative imagination.

40:20 The journey of elimination, you can call it self care. It’s alignment to taking care of your body for longevity.

    Do not miss these highlights:

01:25 The three core elements of a scalable offer.

01:31 A scalable offer is a container where you can serve one to many clients. This would be different from you in a one-to-one coaching client relationship.

02:36 A scalable offer allows you to bring volumes of people through an experience at once and get them results, or get them what they need.

03:11 The coaching element of your scalable offer, likely your group coaching offer, is one of the most common in our industry.

04:42 Remember that people want their problems solved. That's it. They have found you or they're attracted to you in order to solve that.

05:17 A lot of you understand the nuances of the different types of offers in coaching. But most people don't really have that understanding.

05:37 The best offer is your unique framework, and your unique experience that you're going to take them through.

05:59 How will you coach one person in a group setting? Or what does that look like?

06:08 If you haven't experienced a scalable offer, as a client or as a consumer, come see our group coaching program on how we do it in the 10k Content Collective group.

06:46 People with the best and most reputable programs, are people that have been in several different masterminds or experiences for themselves.

07:05 A lot of coaches and consultants are trying to create something without investing in their business. Or even trying to create something without having done it themselves.

07:23 In our 10k Content Collective, we do really well in our offering of the infrastructure that is meant to support volumes of clients. Also the three elements, curriculum, coaching, and the community, ours is solid.

07:48 Coaching somebody in a group experience, you need to learn how to hold space for one person while other people are there.

08:12 Most people will learn more by hearing others get coached than they will from getting coached themselves.

08:42 Just by hearing other people experience similar challenges will allow them to feel so much lighter.

09:04 Having that group dynamic creates this camaraderie, and this commonality that we're all in this together.

09:17 As a client you will get so much. But this is your responsibility as the leader to set up expectations ahead of time,

09:55 This goes back to when we're talking about the Community. It is telling people how you expect them to behave. Or what are the parameters within that.

10:16 Tell them ahead of time that they will get results just by being there.

10:49 The coaching element of your skill of offer is the catch all. Your curriculum that you've designed, which is the framework.

11:05 If designed well, it's the only thing they need. Nothing more, nothing less.

11:21 Everybody has their own filters when it comes to learning or absorbing something.

11:45 It's that space to get that individual coaching in that group dynamic which again, serves other people too.

12:20 Be encouraged to think about how this could be an added benefit to your offer.

12:41 When you start forming that connection between those people and they're showing up on group calls together, it will feed into the community culture.

13:07 It becomes this beautiful trifecta of enhancing the overall experience of your clients so they can get results faster and better.

13:38 Intentionally design scalable offer and coaching element around where you feel like people are going to get the most hung up.

14:03 If you don't have boundaries in place, people won't respect that time.

14:20 Bi-directional experience is that expectation that is going to completely change how people are experiencing those coaching calls.

14:46 When we look at the curriculum of our clients programs, you can usually spot or understand where coaching calls should be added and how.

15:32 You can do this however you want. Keeping the experience in mind, keeping that journey in mind, and how are people coming in.

15:56 When they run into a challenge, because they will, they have somebody to go to.

16:10 Yes we want to think of the curriculum, as mentioned last episode, as standalone.

16:22 But when it comes to actually designing that experience around it, it's just not reasonable to think that people won't get stuck.

16:38 Depending on your specific promise pathway and things like that, how frequent the coaching calls really play into.

17:04 Really think about where people are going to have the most challenges, and how you can support them at a deeper level with your coaching calls.

17:31 Sometimes it might require some testing and adjusting and pivoting.

17:42 Step back and think about your clients experience and what's best for them.

17:57 This is what we do with you inside our Female Founders Board. It's the most rewarding experience, although also the most challenging.

14:39 If you want us to help you with this, our Female Founders Board is our mastermind for coaches. The consultants that are scaling their income and impact with their scalable offers.

19:05 By now we hope you have clarity and at least a deeper surface level understanding of those three core elements, coaching, curriculum, community, and how to really think about your scalable offer in a way that just blows your clients minds.

  • How To Design Your Curriculum For Your Group Coaching Program

On today’s episode, Kinsey dives into one of the three core elements of scalable offers: curriculum. This is how your clients are learning what they need to learn in order to get the results they desire. If designed well, the curriculum can accelerate your clients’ results and take pressure off of you to coach on the same things over and over again.

However, curriculum can be an art and a science. Tune into this episode so you can avoid the most common mistakes, create an exception experience for your group coaching clients, and scale your impact.

    Do not miss these highlights:

01:57 A scalable offer is around this idea of being able to serve more than one person at a time.

02:06 It's different than a done-for-you service if you're an agency or service based entrepreneur.

02:13 It is also different from a one-to-one coaching or consulting, when you're just working with somebody individually.

02:19 Moving into a scalable offer where you can serve more than one person at a time is really good for the business.

02:50 What does it look like to serve more people?

03:03 We love to talk to you about group coaching and scalable offers.

03:16 The most intricate processes when you're starting to scale your business.

03:22 You’re starting to think about amplifying your impact and income without sacrificing your client's results.

03:32 In our Female Founders Board, this is our core focus alongside getting out of the weeds when you're starting to shift more from solopreneur to that CEO role.

03:58 We have linked up some episodes that reference more depth about scalable offers.

04:14 Three core elements of coaching. Previously it was about Community, and now, curriculum.

04:23 It is really overlooked when it comes to creating some sort of experience where many people can get results without necessarily needing a lot of your time as the expert.

04:38 Curriculum is the material that people are responsible for learning, and applying the meat of your offer.

05:07 If you don't have curriculum that can basically stand on its own and get somebody results, you will not be able to effectively move volumes of people through your scalable offer.

05:23 The curriculum really creates that base learning.

05:48 In our 10k content collective, the four core pillar curriculum in there is around irresistible offers, magnetic marketing, content that converts, and value based selling.

07:39 But not having that solid framework to walk people through, you're gonna end up doing people a disservice

07:55 Curriculum becomes essentially the promise pathway. But when we start to build out the curriculum, as recommended, building as you go in most cases.

08:36 In our Female Founders board, we help people design scalable offers, a container where coaches can help others build their six-figure speaking career, without focusing a lot on individualized coaching.

08:50 Doing a lot of work behind the scenes to think about what that fulfillment structure looks like, what the design looks like, and then the marketing and selling around it.

09:43 The last thing you need to do is to record a bunch of modules, and then go sell it as a start, thinking that that's what people want.

10:06 When you start to move into a framework where it's one to many, it just requires a slightly different delivery sometimes. This is why we really want to build as we go.

10:35 It will create a solid experience. But that requires you to really understand what is the curriculum that they need to know.

10:47 Now the biggest mistake here is, shoving the whole enchilada in the offer.

10:45 It is recommended to actually map out all the things right from point A to point B. We call this the promised pathway.

11:32 As you think about that journey, what's going to come from it are these themes. The things that they need to learn, which will then inform your core curriculum.

11:42 But if you have more than four, at most five sort of core pillars of information, it's likely that you're trying to shove way too much into an offer.

12:00 If we try to give them all this information, they're going to be overwhelmed, and they won't be able to get results.

12:50 What's cool is when you have a coaching component to your scalable offer, it gives you more freedom to catch some of those things that you notice need to be coached, but maybe it's not necessarily a part of the core curriculum.

13:18 You can start to organize it by pillar. From there, you'll start to think about what this looks like from a user experience as they log into the platform.

13:52 We want to create that first “wow” impression.

14:09 A lot of people's first impressions are with when joining a group coaching program.

14:27 Part of the curriculum does need to include an element of getting started, or setting expectations before you ever teach them something.

15:13 Always put yourself in the shoes of our clients because we're all in the same boat.

15:50 If they're not getting what they need through your curriculum, they're going to rely more on the coaching calls, which could be a little bit of a distraction.

16:04 Or if they feel overwhelmed, or they're not getting results fast enough, they're going to check out. They're gonna ask for a refund.

16:15 That is not what we want for people. So really take this component seriously.

16:21 Think intentionally about what that curriculum looks like for you. This is going to come in iterations.

16:29 But definitely don't rush it. If you have no idea what your curriculum is, it may mean that you're just not quite ready for a scalable offer.

16:41 You cannot rush this process, or else you might shortcut a few things for the short term. And that can surely slow you down in the long game.

16:59 If you are at a place where you are ready to design your scalable offer because you have really tested your offer with one to one claims, or you're at capacity in that regard. Whether it's in the traditional form in your clinic or your practice, or you're just ready to take the business to the next level and you want to add in another offer. That's what we do in the Female Founders Board.

  • Mistakes To Avoid When Growing A Community As Part of Your Paid Program

If you’ve added a Facebook Group or some sort of community as part of your paid coaching program, this episode is for you. Kinsey dives into the most common mistakes that are made in this regard, but also shared why this is one of the most important elements to your offer as you grow.

    Do not miss this highlights:

01:40 How inconvenient it is when you run your own business, especially if you are your own personal brand.

01:58 Pressure on you to be able to deliver at some capacity.

02:21 Doing everything in your business and operating as a CEO.

02:50 Community, it's all in the same vein of elevating yourself as a leader, not just in your business or in the industry, but in your coaching programs.

03:01 In our higher level mentorship program Female Founders Board, this is what we definitely specialize in and what we work with you to do.

03:40 Female Founders Board is really an accumulation of high caliber leaders in the industry In all sorts of different niches.

04:26 Let's talk about community in your client programs. This is something that is definitely sort of tossed around in the industry.

04:50 What are the mistakes that coaches make in building community within their paid programs,

05:07 This is not like a free Facebook group. This is related to having a community that is a part of your program.

05:23 In our 10k Content Collective is a coaching program, where we give you the tools to attract and enroll clients consistently with your organic content.

05:48 It is the community that we curate that is the total vibe and culture of the clients.

06:30 Something that's overlooked can be the most important asset to your paid coaching programs.

06:40 Community could potentially make or break your brand and your clients experiences.

07:02 Your client community will grow your business for you, because they're going to love it so much, they're going to be out referring people to you. They're gonna be clients for life.

08:30 It's one of our core initiatives in any of our client programs. We really thoughtfully curate our communities.

08:58 It shouldn't be just a checklist item when you add a Facebook group, where you just funnel those clients into a community.

09:30 A community should be a joy and culture of what you want your brand to represent, and what you want people to feel when they're connecting to your brand.

10:35 If you're not getting what you want from them, as far as how to engage or interact within that community, it's basically your fault.

10:46 But truly, you are the coach and the leader, and that is where the responsibility comes from.

11:14 But there should be clarity on what your business is. Is it a company or a personal brand? That's where there's going to be a huge gap.

11:27 If you're growing to multi figures, these are the elements, the softer skills, and strategies, that people want to overlook.

12:01 The truth is, you cannot have that notoriety and the thought leadership in your industry without the culture piece.

12:17 The first thing to do is really consider what is the culture of my brand or my company? What does that look like as far as my client community goes?

12:26 Another thing is to really think about what the expectations are of your client. Now, this also ties into your onboarding process.

13:02 It's easy to overlook some of the most basic elements of what people need to know when they come into your program. One of those expectations is how to leverage the community.

13:38 Even after somebody invests into you and your program, you still have to sell them on that next step, which includes the right expectations.

14:19 This is really important. If you see clients falling into this setting expectations or rules, but then bending the rules.

14:48 You have to be good and consistent at following your own rules, so as not to spend too much time on your end.

16:14 What happens is, when you break these types of rules, you end up burning out, and you end up breaking boundaries.

16:57 This is meant to protect your own boundaries as a coach as a leader, but to also set the parameters in place.

17:42 White Glove Service is creating a container where people feel heard and seen, they understand how to get what they need.

18:02 Give people guidelines to operate under, when there's clarity, they succeed way more.

18:39 Create those confines for you and your clients, then everybody will be so much happier.

18:53 In our 10k Content Community, we have a hashtag system. So if people want questions answered, they use a certain hashtag.

19:11 It allows people to get that service that they desire without spinning their wheels figuring out how.

19:40 Now, the other thing you need to consider is the long term vision of this community which is also tied to your offer,

20:08 A lot of times what we see if you're trying to scale an offer or coaching program, but you start out because it's smaller.

20:22 You have to abide by your own rules. The procedures and processes that you put in place will be designed with the end in mind.

20:47 A lot of people aren't thinking long term, they're just sort of on an ad hoc process.

21:09 Also consider what process that people come in? What is the first thing you want them to experience in that community?

21:20 Get people immersed into that community as soon as possible, because that is the thing that will hold them for life.

21:54 If your community is thriving, this is going to be one of their first impressions of you, and your brand, and your program.

22:51 They're going to see all these other people really helping, really like coming in, and wrapping their arms around each other

23:38 This program has a sort of that feeling vibe and really thinks long term.

23:57 We like to think of our clients as clients for life

24:14 So don't just slap up a Facebook group and call it a community. Be really thoughtful of this process

24:36 I hope that this really inspires you to take a look at your claim communities, and think about what that next version looks like.

24:55 If you want the client acquisition machine to bring people in at volumes, our Female Founders Board is definitely the space for you.
