Unless you're citizen one in Nerdville, you probably have no idea how the stream you watch or the content you consume actually gets to your device – much less who provides the infrastructure we all use without thinking about it. Craig Matsumoto is a professional researcher and writer and he joins me to help us understand – on the next QTS Experience.
About Our Guest:
Craig Matsumoto covers distributed edge infrastructure as a Senior Research Analyst at 451 Research, a part of S&P Global Market Intelligence. He follows the evolution of infrastructure into cloud-native services controllable by software, with focus areas including CDNs, datacenter interconnection services and edge computing services. He also covers the aspects of hyperscale public clouds that overlap these sectors. Prior to joining 451 in 2018, Craig spent 27 years in technology journalism, covering beats including semiconductors and optical networking for SDxCentral, Light Reading, and EE Times. He holds a bachelor of science degree in engineering mathematics from UC Berkeley.
