I get it now. Suddenly I get why people like going back to their high school and going to a basketball game or a football game (ahem, darren). Now I live hundreds of miles from where I went to high school but I went to an event yesterday and suddenly I GET IT. This episode is all about how I suddenly GOT it and now I'm a big fan of reliving the glory days.

Don't lie in general, that's a pretty standard rule for life but especially don't lie at Disneyland. I tried. And I failed. And the reason why I say you shouldn't do it probably isn't the reason you're thinking of. But you'll have to listen to find out.

No, this is not a 20 minute long podcast dedicated to the Eat More chocolate bar (though I do take that tangent for a minute or two). This week I'm telling you about how I went from being a believer of "eating less and running more" to achieve the "ideal physical aesthetic" to realizing that the answer to getting the aesthetic I've always wanted is to eat more! And lift weights. (And do cardio for my mental health.) But this episode goes through how I went from years of eating 1200 calories a day to eating 2000+ calories a day and I've never felt (or looked) better.

Last weekend I ran a half-marathon (I'm only half crazy, not full crazy) and it was the probably the best race I've ever done. I didn't get my best time (but I was close and it's eating at me a bit but that's a different story) but it was physically and mentally the easiest I've ever experienced and I'm telling you all about it and how I prepped for it in today's episode.

Last October I was officially diagnosed with ADHD and I was given some medication to try. I had no idea how they worked, no idea what to expect, no idea how to tell if they were working or not. I almost didn't take them. But I did. And this podcast is the story about what happened next.

It's been a hot minute, huh? Well I'm back and have just as much to ramble on about as ever.

Also, if anyone knows the ex-boyfriend I am referencing in these episodes, I would love to get his side of these stories because I don't know how he couldn't have thought I was absolutely mental. Fun fact: two of them aren't even that time consuming! I'll just tell you now, the third thing is making freezer meals for busy nights so that's time consuming BUT it's still so helpful.
