The Chris Stigall Show

A two-day summit at the university of Chicago featured some of mainstream journalism’s finest on one stage defending their atrocious and dishonest coverage of “news” over the last few years in particular.  Some journalism school students absolutely embarrass the participants on stage with some of the best questions you’ve ever heard posed to those charged with covering the news.  Matthew Boyle interviewed President Trump after screening a new film from Citizens United called “Rigged” which tells the story of Zuckerberg money pouring into the 2020 election.  Boyle gives us his and Trump’s review of the film.  And a New Jersey State Senator says the legislature has “lost its damn mind” after reading the sex education curriculum they approved for public school students in their state. 

Now that Nancy Pelosi is quarantined for COVID, analysis of her role at Tuesday’s Obama visit to the White House which was already a disaster has become even more of one.  Politico is freaked out the old man we’re supposed to pretend is president is “in danger” they cry.  But Stigall reminds you why this is all absurdist theatrics.  Jonathan Emord, author of “The Authoritarians” expresses his extreme concern with the newly confirmed SCOTUS Justice “Jackson-Brown,” as Stigall calls her.  Plus the Washington Post is in a panic over Elon Musk becoming the majority share holder of Twitter this week.  What could he do now?  Stigall explores it. 

The Daily Mail reports a source has more – a lot more – Hunter laptop email, texts, etc. that were meant to be deleted but have been recovered. The source says you ain’t seen nothin’ yet! Stigall gives you the latest. Oil executives were dragged to a congressional hearing yesterday and made out to be evildoers who either don’t know or pretend not to know how the energy business works.  Danile Turner of Power the Future explains how market forces control energy costs and why the “greedy” label for energy companies is silly.  Then our weekly chat with Paris Denard to discuss the devastating Obama White House visit this week and more analysis on election integrity as we head toward critical elections this fall.

If you love vintage SNL, you probably know the name Joe Piscopo.  For younger folks, Joe was a star of the show back in the 1980s with Eddie Murphy. Today he does amazing stage performances paying tribute to the Sinatra era.  He’s a radio show host in New York City and a friend of a music legend who died yesterday – Bobby Rydell.  Stigall and Piscopo remember some fun stories about the man and then Joe regales us with some showbiz commentary of his own.  Plus hear a bonus throwback interview with Bobby Rydell from 2020 when Stigall was live for a Trump rally in Wildwood, NJ.  It’s a fun conversation before we get to one of the saddest moments ever captured on video of an American president.  Emerald Robinson and Stigall analyze the devastating optics of Obama’s visit to the Biden White House yesterday.

As the Biden administration dismantles Title 42 next month, Stigall explains why he thinks the GOP is talking about it wrong and how they can turn this into an instant political winner.  But it’s not just cynical, it’s true.  Andrew McCarthy and Stigall have a very enlightening conversation about natural rights and how progressives are using the courts to slowly erode the concept as the Senate moves to confirm Judge Jackson this week to SCOTUS.  As we warned, farmers are feeling the pinch and making decision accordingly.  Economist Steve Moore discusses what it means as interest rates and inflation continue to rise at the same time.

Plus, Dr. Marty Makary from Fox News and Johns Hopkins is not a booster shot enthusiast.  He explains he problem with the new push for a fourth booster from the FDA and he explains what it is that’s caused Bruce Willis to retire from public life.
