The Chris Stigall Show

This is a subject deeply personal to Stigall.  Was your church closed during COVID?  If the answer is yes, was it for a couple of weeks or was it months, a year, or more?  Are mask mandates still in place on adults and or kids?  In a grace-filled but analytical look at the past two years of churches managing this pandemic, The Daily Wire’s Megan Basham wrote a feature called, “ How The Federal Government Used Evangelical Leaders to Spread COVID Propaganda To Churches.”  Francis Collins of the NIH and big name pastors, major Christian publications and well-known Christian ministries pushed many Christians into obeying government edicts and ignoring dissenting views about the way to deal with COVID.

Stigall discusses the alarming rise of fentanyl laced drugs in the country and the staggering stats on who it’s killing. Today was a pretty remarkable day.  Despite all their attempts to use fear and force, the era of mandates appears to have ended today in most places. Now that Canada’s PM Trudeau has lowered the boom on protestors’ finances, Stigall sees some lessons and things to consider for those of us to their south here in the United States.  Our chief economist Steve Moore unpacks some devastating new inflation numbers today and he and Stigall spend time really unpacking how inflation works and how it can be countered.  It’s a great conversation for those learning how to talk about the economy and how government and the Federal Reserve impact the economy for good and bad.  Plus, Stigall believes he’s stumbled on to the Democrats’ new pan to win voters in this year of terrible inflation.  Try his theory on for size.

This show specifically features two Pennsylvanians, but they are conversations that apply to medicine across the country.  There are few who can’t identify with the stories.  You’ll meet a very impressive, accomplished cardiothoracic surgeon who is now running for Governor of PA – Dr. Nche Zama.  Hear his great American story of coming from nothing to becoming one of the leading surgeons in his field.  He has plenty to say about the state of modern medicine, Obamacare, and the mismanagement of COVID.  PA State Representative Dawn Keefer shares her new legislative push to protect doctors and pharmacists who’ve been caught in the crosshairs of politics while simply trying off-label use medicines.
