Stigall realizes it's not everyone's cup of tea, but late night variety television is his passion. News yesterday that Stephen Colbert and the Late Show franchise started by David Letterman 30 years ago on CBS, and more than 40 years ago on NBC has now been cancelled. Turns out the old man was, in fact allowing others to use his signature. The New York Times confirms it. Stigall unpacks it. Superman isn't woke. Depends on who you ask and how you view the situation.
