One of the hardest parts of pregnancy loss can be the way it asks us to grieve something we had only just begun to imagine, while still trying to keep moving through everyday life.
In this solo episode, I’m sharing my miscarriage story, including the pregnancy bleeding that followed, the appointment where there was no heartbeat, and the surgery and recovery that came after.
I talk about what it was like to move through a missed miscarriage after a difficult birth experience, and how that loss brought up fear, panic, and questions I did not fully understand at the time.
I also share the emotional side of miscarriage grief, including guilt, shame, and comparison, along with the ways I began to see that I needed deeper care, healthier coping, and real miscarriage support instead of trying to push through it alone.
In this episode, you’ll hear:
This episode is a reminder that there is no one right way to move through pregnancy loss, and that healing can begin when we stop blaming ourselves and start allowing ourselves to be supported.

What if one of the things our bodies are missing most is not another supplement, another routine, or another appointment, but the energy we used to get naturally from being outside?
In this episode, I’m joined by Jim Girard, founder and inventor of Biocharger, and Jim Law, CEO of Biocharger, for a fascinating conversation about energy healing, frequency, and a different way to support the body.
We talk about how the Biocharger combines PEMF, light therapy, high voltage frequency, and harmonics, and why they connect this work to nature, cellular voltage, health optimization, and wellness technology. We also get into Biocharger recipe programs for sleep support, mental clarity, and overall cellular health, plus how it can fit into a wellness routine without making life more complicated.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
Whether you are already deep into biohacking, curious about energy medicine, or just looking for a simple way to support your body, this episode is a fascinating look at a technology that is bringing nature-inspired energy into everyday wellness.

What do we do when we know something is not right in our body, but the answers still are not clear?
In this episode, I’m joined by Nicole Smith, a Palm Beach County tap teacher, dancer, and co-producer of So Flo Tap Fest, whose breast cancer diagnosis at 30 began with a quiet but persistent knowing that something in her body was not right. Nicole shares what it looked like to keep asking questions when the answers were not clear, why health advocacy and self advocacy mattered so much in her story, and what she wants other women to know about learning to advocate for yourself when something feels off.
Together, we talk about what happens when life changes in an instant, what it means to move through active treatment and medically induced menopause, and what helped Nicole stay grounded through the unknown. She also shares how this experience reshaped the way she thinks about her health, her relationships, her support system, and the kind of life she wants to keep choosing.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
This episode is for anyone who has ever brushed off symptoms, felt unsure about asking for another opinion, or needed the reminder that listening to your body is not overreacting. I hope Nicole’s story encourages you to trust yourself, keep asking questions, and make your health a priority before life forces you to.

Have you ever wondered why your body can stay activated long after a stressful moment has passed?
In this episode, I’m sitting down with JP Errico, a Florida-based scientist, innovator, and creator of Truvaga, to talk about the vagus nerve, the autonomic nervous system, and the way our bodies move between stress, recovery, and repair.
JP shares a different way to look at stress and sleep, autonomic balance, and what it can mean to support the nervous system before we get completely depleted. It left me thinking about recovery in a whole new way, and how simple practices like deep breathing and tools like Truvaga can help us better understand what the body has been trying to tell us.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
This episode is a great reminder that the body is always sending us signals. When we understand how the nervous system, immune system, sleep, stress, and recovery are connected, we can start supporting the body in simple, practical ways.

Sometimes the path we think we are chasing changes when life shows us a deeper purpose.
In this episode, I sit down with Chef Harvey Gonzalez, executive chef at Christopher's Kitchen in Palm Beach Gardens, whose culinary journey began with family, food, and a love for cooking that started with his mother in Colombia. After training at Le Cordon Bleu and working in high-pressure kitchens, including Michelin-level restaurants in New York, Harvey found himself drawn toward something more meaningful than status or achievement.
Harvey’s story brings together family, purpose, and a deeper way of looking at food. As a plant-based chef, he shares how holistic food and wellness food became part of his work beyond the kitchen.
We also talk about purpose, family support, and the way healthy cooking can become more approachable when food is made with care.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
This episode is for anyone who loves food, wants to make plant based meals more approachable, or needs a reminder that purpose can grow from the most personal parts of our story.

What do we do when our labs look normal, but we still know something is off?
In this episode, I’m sitting down with Adam El-Hosseiny, COO and co-owner of Access Medical Laboratories in Jupiter, Florida, to talk about the role specialty testing can play when we want a deeper look at our health. Adam shares how his family built a national diagnostic lab rooted in service, faster answers, and better patient care for functional and integrative providers.
We talk about the kinds of tests that can help uncover what basic labs may not show, including food sensitivity, heavy metal testing, hormone panel testing, and environmental allergy testing. Adam also explains how lab automation, lower blood draw volume, and faster turnaround times help providers get results more quickly and support a better patient experience.
This conversation is such a good reminder that health testing is not always one-size-fits-all. Sometimes the foods we think are healthy may not be working for our bodies, and sometimes the next right step is getting more specific information.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
Whether you have ever been told your labs look normal, felt curious about deeper testing, or wanted to better understand how functional medicine providers use lab work, this episode will help you think differently about the role of testing in your health journey.

What if choosing no alcohol in a place like Vegas doesn’t mean missing out on the fun, the connection, or the full experience?
In this episode, I’m sharing a quick trip to Las Vegas to see Dead and Company at the Sphere, and what it brought up for me around being alcohol free in a city that holds a lot of old memories around drinking. From delayed flights and a short turnaround to spa time, concert energy, and reconnecting with a friend, this trip reminded me how much can still feel full, exciting, and meaningful without alcohol.
I talk about sober travel, mindful drinking, Vegas temptation, and the honest moment when I questioned whether not drinking was too restrictive. I also share how I worked through that thought, why I came back to the choice that has been working for me, and how much clarity, focus, and energy I connect to my alcohol free lifestyle.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
If you have been rethinking your relationship with alcohol, trying to stay grounded while traveling, or wondering whether life can still feel fun and expansive without drinking, this episode will feel honest and relatable.

What do we do when sex, shame, trauma, and the nervous system are all connected, but no one has taught us how to talk about it?
In this episode, I’m sitting down with Seth Kaufmann, a Multidimensional Coach to talk about sexual health, somatic healing, nervous system regulation, Tantra practice, and the ways our relationship with pleasure can shape how we move through life. Seth shares so much wisdom around healthy relationships and why understanding the whole person can change the way we approach intimacy and personal growth.
This episode is such an important reminder that healing sexuality and shame is not about forcing ourselves into a new version of who we are. It is about creating safety, asking better questions, understanding what the body may be holding, and learning how breath, touch, awareness, movement, and honest communication can help us reconnect with the authentic self.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
This episode is for anyone who has ever wanted to understand their body in a deeper way, felt disconnected from pleasure or intimacy, or needed a reminder that healing can begin with safety, awareness, and a more honest relationship with yourself.

I created The Cinnamon Effect for the woman rebuilding herself — the one navigating change, searching for clarity, and learning how to move forward with intention.
I’m Kimberly Hand,…
The Cinnamon Effect is also my philosophy on life. Just like a small sprinkle of cinnamon can completely transform something simple, I believe small, intentional choices create meaningful change. When we focus on progress over perfection, clarity creates momentum — and those small shifts begin to shape a more vibrant, aligned life.
Here, I believe in progress over perfection. I believe clarity creates momentum. And I believe that when women understand what they’re navigating, they can move forward with more confidence, better health, and a deeper sense of purpose.
On The Cinnamon Effect, I share conversations with experts, thought leaders, and women who are walking their own healing journey — along with solo episodes where I share the tools, daily rituals, and wellness habits that have helped me and so many others live more intentionally. We talk about women’s health, holistic wellness, emotional healing, feminine energy, self-confidence, motherhood, relationships, and building a magnetic presence from the inside out.
This is a space for growth, for reflection, and for becoming the healthiest, most aligned version of yourself — one small, intentional step at a time.
If you’re in a season of change…
If you’re rediscovering who you are…
If you’re ready to live with more clarity, confidence, and intention…
You’re in the right place.
This is The Cinnamon Effect — for the woman rebuilding herself.
