It originated from Old French, and then directly from Latin, meaning fullness and plenty.  Also, to overflow so when you hear that word abound, it's totally connected to abundance to overflow.

On a cold call, has anyone ever told you they're not interested?  What about in a retail setting?  If you're in retail, you're probably hearing "just looking."  It's basically the same thing.  And if you're not hearing this multiple times a day, it could be an indicator that you're not taking enough action.

Once the desire is there the next thing you must recognize is that to be great, there are no short cuts and that experience does not always equal mastery.
