Margaret spent 35 years in Moral Re-Armament, a movement that intended to bring morality back to a world wracked with war. Whether they succeeded is debatable, as is the line between a movement and a cult. Margaret thinks they may have straddled that line pretty closely at times. The specifics of growing up in MRA - as well as her life after - are in her book, A Spectacular Inheritance.

Gaylen has been through it. Heart failure, multiple jobs collapsing around him, alcoholism. During it all, he lost one marriage and gained another. How is he keeping this one alive? He calls it the Monument Method. Learn all about it here.

Fentanyl is all the rage these days when it comes to overdosing, but that wasn't always the case. You had a cornucopia of ways to party like a dead rockstar. One thing that hasn't changed, however, is that child stars become broken adults. We don't like the idea of AI being in our shows and hosting our podcasts, but could that be a good way to have kids in movies without ruining a real life kid?
Topics:
Hayden Panettiere vs. Neutrogena
AI replacing child stars
AI replacing everyone else too
Hobbes the ring thief
Two days ago, we lost Frank Beard, the drummer for ZZ Top. But that's not the only tragedy in studio today. Kathryn is busy. That may not sound like a big deal, but that's only because you're not Jude. He's taking it pretty hard.
Topics:
Frank Beard dies at 77
ZZ Top
Jude's extreme separation anxiety
New t-shirt design
Niki is here to talk about NFTease, her upcoming show about geeks trying to get into the NFT game - with a twist. Another twist is that she got kicked out of America a couple months ago. So that makes things a bit more difficult. Tom did not take this news well.

Bob's daughter's phone got run over, so he joins us from the parking lot of a T-Mobile. Apparently this isn't the first device he's had to rescue in a hurry. Then, suddenly, his connection goes bad. It's not a good day for tech. But it is a good day for the Vikings, who have won a single preseason game. If that's not a reason to get your hopes up, I don't know what is.
Topics:
Bob at T-Mobile
Ethan's indestructible tablet
Indecent exposure at Nickelodeon Universe
The Vikings are obviously going to win the Super Bowl this year
We lost yet another young actor to (what is presumably) mental illness. Hayden Panetierre died at 36 yesterday after a lot of personal tragedy and tribulation. And, of course, spending her entire life embedded in Hollywood. Seems like a lot of people end up messed up after years of acting, and much moreso when those years are their early ones. Why is that? We have theories.
Topics:
Hayden Panetierre's death
Yachting
Funny people, tragic personal lives
Raising kids in Hollywood
Tired of using Kristyn's segment to talk about our day, we instead decided to revive the segment dedicated entirely to just that. The result? Death, mostly. Dead dogs, family annihilators, serial killers. Maybe we need more sleep.
Topics:
Oakley the dog gets put down
We went to the Carver County Fair
The Lindsay Clancy case and its obligatory conspiracy theories
Alex and Dad went to Winona
Charles Manson was not a nice man
The Complete Disaster Network is finally getting its second show. It's called Bear Tracks, and will be hosted by Former Officer Dave and his friend Mark Kasella. The topic? Hamm's beer. The beer, the culture, the memorabilia. There's a lot of history in Hamm's, and they plan on cracking it open. Get it? Because that's a thing you do with beer, too.
Birch decided to lose his mind this segment. Tim, being no stranger to loud dogs in the studio, took it in stride. Besides, Birch being annoying is nothing compared to your neighborhood being transported millions of years into the past and attacked by dinosaurs. Unless it is. We've never experienced that firsthand.
Topics:
Minions & Monsters isn't drawing the numbers the franchise is used to
End of Oak Street is like Jurassic Park but not stale
Alan Ritchson has decided to become a political zealot
