The Complete Disaster Podcast

It's the last episode with Tom and Kathryn until 2026. Maybe spending time moving will help them forget about all the constant news about Minnesota fraud. Moving sucks, but it's better than dwelling on the negative. And that's our Christmas lesson for the year: cheer up.

Ever notice how child celebrities seem to have a lot of mental issues? It seems there may be a correlation between child actors and the adults that take advantage of them in every way you could think of. That's why we're here to say "just say no" to abusing children who work for your network.

Kobe Bryant shot footage for a documentary he planned on releasing. Then he died and it got buried. But it's still out there. Will it ever see the light of day? And if it does, will it be three and a half hours long like what feels like every movie?

It's been seven months since Chris was last here, which in normal circumstances doesn't mean a whole lot. The past seven months, however, have been rather busy. He still made it in though, and it's a good thing too. Otherwise we might have spent the show talking about ancient TV shows and kids these days.

The human spine is a fragile thing, and when something goes wrong, it really goes wrong. Then you end up getting a needle repeatedly shoved into it. It's not quite as bad as it sounds, but it's still not pleasant. Certainly more bearable than two decades of early childhood parenting.

According to what we currently know, Rob Reiner's son has been charged with stabbing him and his wife to death in their own homes. We're taking the controversial stance that breaking into your father's home and murdering him is bad. Very bad, even. Yes, we're brave that way.

A lot of things aren't as good as they used to be. TV mainstays like The Simpsons and Saturday Night Live. Restaurants. Even Disney. But that doesn't mean they have to keep trending downward. Mike Lindell got hit harder than any of us and he's rebuilding, even throwing his hat in the ring for Minnesota governor. Knives Out 2 sucked and now the third one is good. Are we entering the era of optimism? That's probably a bit premature, but perhaps.

Aaron Schram joins us today to talk about Schram Vineyards, a local Waconia winery that Andy and Melissa went to for their anniversary. Small business is tough, and owning a vineyard is no exception. Actually it might be, because most small business doesn't involve trying to keep grapes from freezing to death. Maybe they can steal some socks to keep their grapes warm.

Any cop will tell you: criminals, by and large, aren't generally the brightest. There are exceptions, of course, but you usually don't hear about them because they don't incriminate themselves in a quest for insurance money (for example). It's also possible that maybe Minnesota doesn't produce the most savvy criminals because they're always preoccupied about having to go shovel snow when they get home. It's a constant distraction.
