Is there a job you wouldn't do for double the pay? If you said "no", you've either got an iron constitution or you haven't thought about it hard enough. Or maybe you're like the people at Samaritan's Purse who do what's necessary because it's the right thing to do. Plus they get to fly in a helicopter. That's pretty fun.

Apparently October 7th was a big deal. Something about all this hatred of one another. We were too busy practicing our endzone celebrations to notice. But wouldn't you know it, now you're not even allowed to do those anymore. It might have something to do with the Middle East apparently buying all our athletes. I guess finger guns don't translate well across cultural lines.

They're turning donations into help. They've got helicopters and trucks full of goods and people willing to help. What they don't have is a very good internet connection. Hey, the fact that they can get a signal at all in a hurricane-ravaged disaster zone is pretty impressive. We'll try again Monday.

Remember when you could walk around downtown in Minneapolis? Me either. But apparently in the days of yore, that was a thing people did. Of course, people also used to try to cure cholera with leeches, so there's a distinct possibility that downtown at 2 AM was still bad back then too and they just didn't know it.
