  • 014: Tips to Stop Feeling Unworthy - My Experience
Here is a short story in points on how I stopped feeling unworthy. Ps: It was a journey. I'm so glad that when I look back at where I was and where I am now, I see growth. And yes! I'm not where I want to be yet, but I'm forever grateful for the experiences I've had and the mistakes I've made (even the ones I'm not proud of) for those have taught me so much and helped me become a better person. • 013: You Can! Drop the Labels
This episode is meant to inspire and remind you that your worth is intrinsic. You are not what the society or your family labels you as. You can drop the labels even the ones you gave yourself that no longer serve you.
I also covered a few tips in this episode.
    This week's verse:
Q2:153. O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer). Truly! Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).

  • 011: The Perfect Time is Now!
I have always been aware of my flaws because I had constant reminders of them from 'people'. I had lots of wishes which included being able to afford a therapist but I needed to take the bull by the horn, stop wishing my situation was different and look for little ways I could start making a change and taking steps towards becoming my best self.
I know you're waiting for the perfect time but the perfect time doesn't exist. Use the resources you have access to - blogs, podcasts, YouTube videos, google, self help books and find actionable steps no matter how little that you can start implementing today to get you closer to becoming your best self. __________________________
    This Week's Verse:
Q 26:217 - And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

  • 009: How to See Yourself Differently Than You Do
There are several body shapes and sizes and yours is perfect for you the way it is.
You are the greatest project you'll ever work on.
What matters most is how you see yourself.
    In this episode, I share:
โ†ช๏ธ Part of my body shaming story, โ†ช๏ธ Tips to help you begin your body love journey,
โ†ช๏ธ How to change how you feel about your body and
โ†ช๏ธ Hopefully, some new insights/perspectives on beauty and the perfect body.
I had struggled with loving my body and myself for nearly a decade and this story is about how I began to accept myself as "beautiful", not the entire story of how I developed love for every part of my body and myself. I'll sprinkle my story in other episodes ๐Ÿ˜‰
There are several women with the same body type as you. You can find them online, follow them and draw positive inspiration from them to find what works for you if you struggle with dressing modestly for your body type.
