  • 033: How I changed my self-talk about my stomach (Bonus Episode)
What do you constantly speak of, or complain about? That could give you an insight into what you truly care about or what your insecurities are.
For the longest time, I said: I have big stomach, look at my big stomach. I drew people's attention to it, whether they cared to listen or not.
Most often people don't notice the things we're insecure about but we do.
When I changed my self talk and the other tips I share in today's episode, it didn't change my reality - the size/shape of my stomach. What it did change was the way I saw my stomach.
I've realised from my experience that it's not our bodies that's the problem but the way we think of our bodies. The way we think of our bodies reflects in what we see when we look at ourselves. The mirror reflects what you think or feel back to you.

  • 028: The 7 Keys to Being Present by Chris Lee | The Revamp Daily Series V
I came across this interview titled " 7 Keys to being present in your life with Chris Lee" I was curious so I tapped on the download button with the intention of listening to it later.
It is important to note that these 7 keys to being present that I'm about to share with you guys is not mine and I'm not taking credit for it.
After listening to the interview which I did over and over again, I felt this strong urge to share it.
I had my parents listen to it as well as my siblings and now I'll share the highlights with you guys.
Not being present can make us miss out on life. All we have is this moment and there is no guarantee for tomorrow.
We live in fear of the moment because we're thinking of the past or we're afraid of what's coming in the future. We miss out on this moment because we don't realize that happiness is NOW! - Chris Lee.

  • 025: It's Not Always About You | The Revamp Daily Series II
This episode is all about how to stop taking things personal.
    Here are some takeaways:
πŸ™‚ It's not always about me.
πŸ™‚ People are the main characters in their lives too, just like you're the main character in yours.
πŸ™‚ You can also project your insecurities and fear on others.
πŸ™‚ Give people an opportunity to show you who they are instead of assuming they're like the other people you used to know.
πŸ™‚ You are not defined by the words of other people.
πŸ™‚ Healing is very important and so worth it.
πŸ™‚ Self awareness is also important.
πŸ™‚ Try to see the intention of the other person.
πŸ™‚ You don't have control over other people.
πŸ™‚ Sometimes, it's about you darling.
