Welcome to The Conscious Couples Podcast with your hosts and real-life couple Emilia Smith and Alan Lazaros. Your partner is your favorite person in the whole world – so why do you feel like you need time away from them? Today they talk about getting alone time in your relationship and whether or not you’re getting enough of yours. Being partners doesn’t mean you have to do everything together. Needing space does not necessarily mean your relationship is doomed. Getting enough alone time can help you create a stronger, healthier relationship with your partner.

Welcome to The Conscious Couples Podcast with your hosts and real-life couple Emilia Smith and Alan Lazaros. Essentially, wearing the pants in a relationship refers to dominance. The person who wears the pants in a relationship is the one who has more control. But that doesn’t mean that their feelings are stronger or weaker. You can still have a relationship where someone “wears the pants,” and it’s still perfectly healthy. In this episode, they talk about who wears the pants in their relationship and how it’s supposed to be in your relationship. It’s more than just dominance. A healthy relationship also has a healthy power balance, which means control is passed between the two of you – based on different things, different circumstances, and different times.
