The Couch Potatoes

Hi there! This week, it's the June Movie Preview, and we'll tell you about the next X-Men movie, the next Toy Story movie, and two movies about scary dolls that want to take your life! We'll also tell you about a "Batman v Bourne" situation that revealed itself this week, and I watched season 2 of 'Trapped' on Netflix. It is stellar. - Brett

Hi there. Last week I promised a review of Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Turns out, I lied. I didn't go see Godzilla this week. Or, Godillza as I once put up on a sign when I worked at Taco Bell as a teenager. I was stupid. Instead, I started watching the HBO miniseries Chernobyl, and it is AMAZING. Jeff saw the new movie Booksmart, and he'll tell you why he loved it. I'll also tell you about another show I started watching. Started, and stopped. Because it sucks. I also finally got around to watching a sequel to a movie I'd never watched, then I immediately watched the original. And, something stupid happened to me during John Wick Chapter 3. - Brett

Hi there. We know it was a divisive finale, but The Couch Potatoes are not divided. We were both happy with the finale for Game of Thrones, and we're hoping in time, some of the anger will subside. Jeff has a plethora of movie reviews: John Wick Chapter 3, A Dog's Journey, and some documentary about Bruce Springsteen. And the first trailer debuted for the new Terminator movie! - Brett

Hi there. This week on The Couch Potatoes, Jeff is pumped to see John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum. I checked out something much more subdued on Netflix called Wine Country, and Game of Thrones burns it all down in the 2nd-last episode. Was it worth it? - Brett

Hi there! Jeff went to see 'Longshot' this week, and says it's great! Although, he says the dirty jokes are dirty enough to even offend him a little bit. I've watched most of the Netflix nature documentary 'Our Planet', and it's gorgeous, but difficult to watch. And Game of Thrones delivers what many are saying one of its weakest episodes. We disagree! - Brett
