April 04, 2019 April Movie Preview! Jeff offers second take on "Us"
Hi there! April used to be kind of a crappy month at the movies before the Summer season started in May, but this year, much like last year, it will be home to the biggest opening movie of all time! ALSO A CORRECTION TO PASS ALONG: We indicate during the show that "The Best of Enemies" opens this weekend, on April 5th, which is not true. At least, not in Canada. It opens on April 5th in the U.S. Sadly, by the time we realized the mistake, it was too late and too messy to edit the show in a timely fashion. Meanwhile, Jeff went to see Jordan Peele's "Us". AND, The Walking Dead season 8 finale, ended up kinda being The Walking Meh'd. - Brett

March 28, 2019 Getting 'The Dirt' on 'Us', The Matrix turns 20!
Hi there! This week, I've got a review of "Us", and am bucking the trend somewhat with my take. Jeff watched the Motley Crue movie "The Dirt" on Netflix, and says it might as well be called "The Trash", or Motley POO. Ok he didn't say that, I made that stuff up as I'm typing this. And my all-time favourite movie has now been out for TWENTY YEARS. I feel old. - Brett

March 21, 2019 Apollo 11 soars; HBO not so 'Sharp'
Hi there! Jeff went to see the moon landing documentary Apollo 11, and is about to hand out a rare honour. I recently watched HBO's Sharp Objects, and was so disappointed by it... I had to rewatch Big Little Lies to feel better! - Brett

March 14, 2019 Captain Meh-vel
Hi there! I saw Captain Marvel this week. I'll explain in my review what I mean with that title. Jeff meanwhile reviewed a "classic" love story, and there's a trio of good ones coming to home video! - Brett

March 07, 2019 Spielberg vs. Netflix; Leaving Neverland
Hi there! This week we'll discuss Steven Spielberg setting his sights on Netflix. He wants Netflix films banned from Oscar eligibility! Is he on to something? Or is it time for him to 'get with the times'? I checked out that Michael Jackson documentary on HBO, Leaving Neverland, and we'll both tell you what we thought of a movie that's been on our list for months: "Searching", starring John Cho. - Brett
