The Couch Potatoes

Hi there! This week we'll make our Oscar picks, well, mostly Jeff cuz he's seen more of the movies than I have. We'll also discuss whether or not The Mighty Thor can withstand HULKAMANIA, and I watched the first Netflix reality dating show called "Dating Around". Normally this isn't my thing, but in this case, I DIG IT. - Brett

Hi there! This week on The Couch Potatoes, Jeff has completed his annual rite of passage by watching all eight Best Picture nominees for the Oscars. This week he completed his journey by watching Bohemian Rhapsody, and he'll tell you what he thought. I meanwhile watched a Netflix movie called Polar. More like P.U.lar! Lol? - Brett

Hi there! This week at last, I finally watched that Mister Rogers documentary "Won't You Be My Neighbour?", after it arrived a Netflix on Feb 1st, and it was sensational. Jeff's curiosity on "The Upside" finally defeated him, so he checked that one out and kinda digs it. He also watched one of the WORST movies of 2018, maybe one of the worst movies ever. - Brett

Hi there! This week it's the February Movie Preview, which includes Arnold Schwarzenegger in the unlikeliest of roles. Also, Jeff continues his march towards watching all of the Best Picture nominees, and I checked out a new crime doc about Ted Bundy on Netflix, which Netflix dramatically oversold with its DON'T WATCH IT ALONE nonsense. Harumph. - Brett

Hi there! This week we'll weigh in on the Oscar nominations, I've got reviews of Glass, and Bumblebee. One of them was good, the other, not so much. Jeff saw Vice and will tell you why he wasn't blown away by it, BUT, he WAS blown away by a classic film he watched this week. Also, Jeff checked out both Fyre Festival docs, and I'll finally tell you about a show I've wanted to tell you about now for a month, it's called YOU and is on Netflix. - Brett
