The latest police trust indicator survey by Action Society has revealed that 92% of South African road users feel unsafe when the South African Police Service pulls them over. The other revelation is that most drivers felt unsure whether they should trust the police members who had pulled them over. This probably didn’t come as a surprise

Auditor General Tsakani Maluleke last week again painted a dismal picture of the financial state of the country's local government. The 2020-2021 local government audit report shows that municipalities have regressed in terms of financial management and financial health.
