Welcome back to the Daily Mastermind. I'm excited today to talk to you about a bunch of things were working on with Franklin planners, but also to share a timeless principal with you that I learned a long time ago but it's always good to remind yourself of...
Putting First Things First...et me share soem thoughts from Stephen R Coveys book that I think will help you keep your priorities in the right place this week.
Understanding Priorities Over TimeOne of the first thoughts I want to impart is the difference between managing time and managing priorities. Time management is about the clock—a busy schedule. But managing priorities is about the compass—your vision, mission, and values. Your schedule might seem packed, but without a compass, you'll lack direction in the end.
The Importance of Quadrant TwoFocus on quadrant two tasks—those that are important but not urgent. Many of us get caught up in urgent yet unimportant tasks. However, true productivity and quality stem from investing your time in these important, non-urgent activities that often go unattended.
Discover Your True NorthWhat truly matters to you? Your true north is your compass in aligning business goals with personal values and long-term vision. It’s crucial for entrepreneurs, CEOs, and anyone eager to succeed to determine what holds the most importance in business and life.
The Power of DelegationLearn to delegate, delete, or eliminate unnecessary tasks. The goal is to operate within your unique talent—what excites and fulfills you and drives the most productivity. This is where you'll find the greatest impact and satisfaction.
The Planning ProcessPlan weekly, execute daily, and remain adaptable. This planning emphasizes weekly organization while staying nimble for daily adjustments. Your true north remains constant, guiding you through life's distractions and detours.
Enhance Your Decision-Making SkillsSuccessful individuals are decisive. It's crucial to develop decision-making skills that boost time management and priority setting. Decide where to focus your time and energy, aligning your efforts with your true priorities to lead a meaningful and impactful life.
ConclusionBy applying these principles, you'll transform not just how you work but also how you live. Mastering time management and knowing your true north will significantly impact your life.
Thank you for joining me today. Please share this episode. It would mean a lot to me and I appreciate your support.

Welcome back to The Daily Mastermind! Today, we need to address a critical topic: distractions. We're all guilty of letting our external environment, circumstances, and the myriad demands of life lead us astray from our true potential. But are you letting your life distract you from your true destiny? Are the things in your life pulling you away from becoming the person you were meant to be, and from creating the life of your dreams?
We all get distracted, but it’s time to focus on this prevalent issue, especially as we near the end of the year. Whether you’ve already set your goals or are preparing to start fresh, it's crucial to become more intentional with your day and mindset. Most people just drift through life, and at the end of a day, week, or month, they often wonder, "Where did the time go?" This unawareness happens because we drift from one task to another, often led by crises or external stimuli.
Recognize Your DistractionsTo counteract drifting, the first step is recognizing your distractions. These can be physical tasks like emails and busywork, social media, or environmental distractions like your job or personal circumstances. Which distractions consume your time and keep you from your path? Additionally, consider emotional distractions such as anxiety, stress, depression, and fear. Are these emotions steering you away from a positive mindset and slowing your progress?
Reframe and Deal with DistractionsAwareness of these distractions is key. Once you identify them, the second step is to reframe and deal with them. This doesn’t mean eliminating difficult emotions but feeling them and letting them pass. Getting stuck inside these distractions is unproductive. Instead, reframe your problems as opportunities and set boundaries to deal with these distractions effectively.
Practical TipsHere are some practical ways to manage your distractions:
1. Set BoundariesDon't check email first thing in the morning. Limit your social media usage and avoid surfing the internet aimlessly. Commit to not letting petty distractions intrude on your goals.
2. Stay MotivatedFind powerful ways to stay motivated and inspired. Whether it's through music, affirmations, accountability partners, or mentors, these tools can help you deal with distractions swiftly.
3. Move PhysicallyPhysical movement is a great distraction buster. Exercise, go for walks, or get adequate sleep to refresh and reset your mind.
Commit to ChangeAs we approach the end of the year, commit to being less distracted, more intentional, and purposeful. Have a clear path and direction, and focus on service and gratitude which will inspire you further. If needed, seek support—join a mastermind group, get a personal trainer, or form a support system.
Challenge YourselfHere's my challenge for you: pinpoint at least three distractions that you can cut, eliminate or delegate. This will significantly boost your focus and drive monumental growth towards achieving your goals.
Let’s make it a mission to identify and deal with our distractions. It's the only way to avoid failure due to lack of focus. Seek help where needed, stay determined, and let's make this upcoming year the best one yet in terms of productivity and goal achievement.
I hope this message inspires you. Have an amazing day, and I look forward to sharing more insights tomorrow. If this is your first time here, please share this podcast. Tag me at The Daily Mastermind, and give me your feedback on how we can help you stay focused on your goals.

Welcome back to the Daily Mastermind! I hope you're already off to a great start to your week. Today, I'm excited to talk to you about your identity and how it shapes your destiny. Over the past few weeks, we've been focusing on mindset, especially on Mondays, to set up principles that will guide you throughout the week.
If this is your first time reading, I encourage you to stay connected so you don't miss any insights. On Mondays, I like to talk about mindset to equip you with the fundamentals for the week. Throughout the rest of the week, we dive into top priorities like mind, body, money, business, and lifestyle. But today, let’s focus on your identity.
Defining Your IdentityYour identity is crucial because it shapes your destiny. Take a moment to ask yourself, "Who am I?" Often, people define themselves through their careers, roles, or experiences—like being a mother, a businessperson, or a caregiver. However, these are just things that you have attached yourself to over time.
You are not defined by the things you do or the experiences you have had. You are not your mind, your heart, or your life’s experiences. Instead, you are the observer of these thoughts and emotions. The person who listens to your mind and witnesses your emotions. Understanding this distinction is the key to truly grasping your identity.
The Three Levels of IdentityLet’s break down the concept of identity into three levels:
1. Background InformationThis includes characteristics such as race, age, gender, job, family background, and other demographic details. Many people get stuck defining themselves based on these aspects.
2. BeliefsThese are the ideas that shape your life, often influenced by external factors and past experiences. Your beliefs have a powerful impact on your thoughts, actions, and ultimately, your results. However, it's crucial to understand that these beliefs can be changed.
3. Conscious Self-DefinitionThis is the most powerful level—the definition you consciously give to yourself. This level enables you to manage and integrate the background information and beliefs in a way that empowers you.
Creating Empowering Self-DefinitionsAn empowering self-definition is key to managing your identity. For instance, instead of seeing your background as a limitation, redefine it as a factor that has shaped you into the strong individual you are today. Instead of believing that life happens to you, believe that life happens for you, providing opportunities for growth.
By creating empowering self-definitions, you can change disempowering beliefs and overcome self-limiting thoughts. This process helps you see your self-worth and potential, shields you from external negativity, and allows you to tackle internal negativity head-on.
The Power of AwarenessOne fundamental concept is awareness. As Michael Singer suggests, the key is not in strategies or tactics but in just being aware. Be aware that you are not your mind, circumstances, or background but a unique individual with immense potential.
Practical Steps to Shape Your IdentityHere are some practical steps you can take to shape your identity consciously:
Remember, your identity is a powerful driving force behind your destiny. By consciously defining your identity and creating empowering self-definitions, you can transform your life. Don't settle for an identity imposed on you by external factors. Take control and choose who you want to be.
So, challenge yourself this week—think deeply about your identity. What do you think and say about yourself? Are these definitions conscious choices or accumulated over time? Decide to create an empowering, self-controlled identity today.

I want to talk about how to become obsessed with your goals.
Why Should We Become Obsessed With Our Goals?
It might sound a little intense, but Grant Cardone puts it best: "I suggest that you become obsessed about the things you want. Otherwise, you're going to spend a lifetime making up excuses as to why you didn’t get the life that you wanted." Essentially, you either become obsessed with your goals and move forward in the life you want, or you'll dwell on excuses for why you didn't live the life you desire
PROBLEM. You say you want something…but your actions…
According to Robert Kiyosaki, "For many people, the power of their excuse is more powerful than their dreams." Life is coming at you full speed, and the challenges, problems, and excuses we face can often seem bigger than our dreams.
Therefore, you must create reasons and goals that are bigger than your obstacles. Harv Eker summarizes it well: "You can have reasons, or you can have results. You can't have both."
Making Your Goals a Must
Robert Stuberg, a mentor of mine, often talks about how the real solution to creating an obsession with your goals is to make them a must. To live the life you dream of and achieve the goals you set, you must prioritize them above everything else.
So, how do we do this? How do we make our priorities non-negotiable?
Steps to Become Obsessed with Your Goals
1. Be Specific The biggest challenge most of us face is not knowing exactly what we want. It's super important to be very specific about your desires. Do you want more money? A better life? Improved relationships? A nicer car? What exactly do you want? What type of freedom with your time do you desire? Be clear about the specifics of your goals; specificity is the first step to achieving them
2. Make Commitments Once you know exactly what you want, you gotta commit to achieving it. You have to be ready to sacrifice something in order to get it. If you're not specific about what you want or the sacrifices you're willing to make, you won't get any closer to becoming obsessed with your goals.
3. Create Time in Your Day Allocate specific time every day to focus and concentrate on your goals. This daily focus is crucial because it helps you continually visualize your goals
4. Visualization The mind works in mysterious ways. The clearer and more real your goals become in your mind, the more doable they seem. Spend time every day visualizing your goals. The clearer you are about what you want, the more real it feels, and the more you want it. This visualization helps you become obsessed with your goals.
5. Daily Rituals Establish daily rituals that remind you of your goals. This can be as simple as looking at your goals, writing them down every day, or repeating specific affirmations like "I am going to be successful." Consistency in these rituals reinforces your goals and helps your subconscious mind work towards achieving the
6. Be Relentless and Never Give Up Relentlessly pursue your goals. Never give up. The more you pursue your goals every day, the more obsessed and focused you become on achieving them. RESOLVE
7. Don't Settle One of the biggest pitfalls is settling for less. As you encounter challenges and roadblocks, it's easy to think about settling. However, settling is the enemy of greatness. Don't settle for anything less than what you truly want in your life
If you these steps, you will become obsessed with your goals, and as a result, you will get what you want.
