To prevent major viral outbreaks such as the COVID-19 outbreak, and the associated impacts on human health, well-being, economies, and security on a global scale, the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) recommends stopping all commercial trade in wildlife for human consumption (particularly of birds and mammals) and closing all such markets. Meanwhile, ensuring consideration of the needs of Indigenous Peoples and local communities that are dependent on wildlife consumption for their food security.

When You Have Your Pandemic Meltdown Please Do It The Right Way. LOL "The Art of the Pandemic Meltdown" is a trending story right now and my guest is the Wall Street Journal columnist who wrote it. Elizabeth Bernstein, has gone to a lot of trouble to educate us all on 'how to lose it properly'. The sheer effort of trying to hold it together during all these turbulent months, through a pandemic and quarantine, working from home and home schooling, civil unrest and the most divisive public discourse in several lifetimes has taken its toll on...everyone. I've always loved Elizabeths' reporting style. The big takeaway from her story this time is that we're all likely going to snap at some point and there's a right and wrong to snap.

I celebrated my Italian Heritage this year wearing buckskin while eating a meatball wedge. Slightly confusing but I wanted to be fair. I love all indigenous people and I love my Italian heritage but I'm no longer sure what the heck's appropriate. Did we really need all this extra agida? With all due respect to history, I'm thinking it might be time to swap for a new Italian role model. And maybe we get rid of the statue idea all together and pick someone whose face we could just imprint on a Ferrari. That way if people don't like it, we just move the Ferrari someplace safer. LOL. Was talking Italian Heritage today with Anthony Paolercio, my dear friend, business associate and all around class act Italian-American! (And brother from another mother.) Anthony and I were talking about all the great Italian role models and he sent me this very cool photo of a painting that hangs in his house. Wow. Lots of great Italian Americans featured here in a...Chrysler? But of course!

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month I Brought Back Breast Cancer Survivor and Mastectomy Lingerie Entrepreneur Keira Kotler. I had read about her and featured her and her company 'Everviolet' over a year ago and was wowed. That was 'before' I also became a member of 'the club nobody wants to belong to'.
