It's good to be a Democrat: rich liberals give you jobs you aren't qualified for and pay you a lot of money to do them. For eight years Hollywood slobbered over Barack and Michelle Obama, donating millions upon millions of dollars to his campaigns. But hero worship and saliva glands don't end just because a presidential term does. So liberals found a way to keep the Brinks Trucks full of money rolling and continue to empower the Obamas to preach the very liberal politics voters rejected after eight years of attempted implementation --- make them Hollywood producers.

Most former Presidents exit the public stage gracefully, but the Obamas have decided they're too important to give up the spotlight, so they've signed a deal with Netflix to produce reality shows, "documentaries" that will likely make Michael Moore seem like an honest storyteller, and whatever else they feel like. Of course, they have no experience producing entertainment programming, but that doesn't matter. The multi-year deal will net them untold millions of dollars, likely shower them with more awards for simply existing, and give them the chance to indoctrinate people well into the future.

The crew at "Good Morning America" could hardly contain their excitement at the announcement, with Robin Roberts announcing, "we need that kind of programming. We really do," without having any real idea of what that programming will be. They did so, oddly, to some weird rave music blasting in the background. Because who doesn't want pulsing techno music blasting in the background of their news at 7 a.m.?

We mock it all.

President Donald Trump is perfectly playing North Korea possibly backing out of the summit next month. In "The Art of the Deal," Trump said you should always be prepared to walk away from any deal, and he demonstrates that and why it's an important option to keep open here. We explain.

California wants to give government-funded health insurance to illegal aliens because A) liberals prefer illegal aliens to Americans, and B) they would cut off their nose to spite their face to oppose President Trump. In the name of the "#Resistance," left-coast liberals have decided to go full speed ahead and assume the looming bankruptcy iceberg will swerve in their game of chicken with financial reality. Wasn't California supposed to fall into the ocean at some point? It was supposed to happen because of a earthquake, but maybe it will happen because they've buried themselves in debt and suicidal liberal policies?

Finally, the world's biggest loser lost his battle to keep living with his parents. Michael Rotondo, 30, refused to move out of his parents house, so they took him to court. They won yesterday and Michael will have to leave, though he does plan on appealing. Rotondo thinks he's entitled to six months notice, but will settle for 30 days. The judge thinks he can do better than that. Rotondo claims to own a business, but refuses to say what that business is. Why does it feel like it involves action figures? Obamas get richer, and California favors illegals. Plus, the world's worst son

Isn't it odd how liberals have no desire to see any evidence as to why the entire Russian collusion investigation started in the first place? They simply don't care to know what caused the Obama administration to launch a spying operation against the Trump campaign or use the system created to spy on foreigners against American citizens. They're cool with all of it because it's against their political enemies. But what if it had been turned on Hillary Clinton? That's a question Alan Dershowitz had for CNN hack Jeffrey Toobin. To no one's surprise, Toobin dodged the question, preferring to toe the party line rather than be intellectually honest.

But the question must be asked --- if the concern from the Obama administration was that the Russians were trying to mess with the election, so much so that they felt the need to spy on the Trump campaign, why didn't they spy on the Clinton campaign for the same reason? The answer seems pretty clear, and we dissect it.

Was there a second informant? Did the Obama administration attempt to send more spies into the Trump campaign? A former campaign aide says they did. Why don't liberals care? We tell you why.

What the hell is happening with people? A man was arrested for urinating on the back of a seat on a flight from Colorado to South Carolina because, well, we don't know but have to assume (or hope) he was drunk out of his mind. How does something like this come about? It's because people have become selfish monsters in the age of social media. When you obliterate the line between being famous and infamous the only thing that matters is getting attention. And when that happens, social norms get destroyed. Maybe these jerks were always around and we didn't notice before, but it seems more likely society is changing for the worse. We explain.

Finally, Starbucks has transformed itself into America's bathroom. A new company policy allows anyone, customer or not, to use their bathrooms and hang out in their stores. What could go wrong? Why the Obama administration didn't put spies into the Clinton campaign

The legacy media has a shocking lack of curiosity when it comes to the Obama administration spying on the Trump campaign in 2016. The New York Times and Washington Post both ran pieces claiming the spying was not to "spy," but to protect the Trump campaign from Russia. The only problem is this theory doesn't hold water. It's like claiming you robbed a bank not steal the money, but to protect the money from being stolen by someone else. If the intelligence community was really trying to protect the Trump campaign, why keep it secret, shouldn't they have been in on it at the time? And why hide it for almost two years, denying it the whole time? If they really were altruistic, why act like kids with their hands caught in to cookie jar? There's a lot more at work here than they are letting on.

Kellyanne Conway absolutely pummeled CNN's Brian Stelter Sunday. Stelter claimed he didn't vote for president in 2016, that he left that part of his ballot black and that's proof he's not biased. Even if he did leave the presidential part of his ballot blank, he still voted down the ticket and he's still completely biased for liberals. Conway reply is nothing short of gold in taking on CNN "media reporter."

Cranky Bernie Sanders was on Meet the Press Sunday and blamed the lack of gun control law in the wake of the Texas school shooting on a "three letter word - NRA." Of course, "NRA" isn't a word, it's an acronym, but even Bernie takes it further by blaming the tax cuts and the attempts to repeal Obamacare as well. If there had been a stiff breeze he likely would have blamed that, too. Host Chuck Todd just let it all slide, naturally.

A public school in New York City paused for a moment of silence to honor Hamas, the terrorist organization launching rockets into Israel. The student-led announcement was a shock to everyone...who hasn't been paying attention to how much liberals hate Israel.

A pastor in Palo Alto, CA, has had enough of "progressives" who love to talk but don't ever do anything to help people. He resigned from his church after it was reported he'd tweeted the city was "an elitist shit den" and saying Earth Day was a "fucking joke." Hero.

Times and Post run defense for Obama's spying. Plus, a pastor has had enough of liberal BS

We recap what is known about the tragic school shooting in Texas, which isn't much. Always be cautious about what you hear about these types of stories in the fog of the first few hours. But a few things we do know: 1, the monster who did it has been taken into custody, so we should find out the motive behind it. And 2, liberals will call for gun control before they know what happened. The left has an agenda they want to push, everything else is plug and play. But the rights of innocent Americans should not be infringed because some "animal" abused his. We discuss.

If you had "Nancy Pelosi will defend a violent gang in order to attack Donald Trump" in the office pool, you won this week. The former speaker of the House and leader of the Democrats chose to defend the "humanity" of MS-13 goons against the President calling them "animals." If there's a better way to describe people who cut someone's heart out, or raped a child, or any of the other monstrous things they've done, we'd like to hear it. That Trump called them "animals" is going easy, frankly.

But White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders didn't go easy on a dweeb in the press who asked her about this at yesterday's briefing. Sanders beat that poor boy about the head and neck with a dead fish, pummeling him over his question about the president's statement. It's something to behold, and we play you the exchange.

While liberals collectively clutch their pearls over the president's comment, we remind people of how the left has routinely called the NRA a terrorist organization. Is that not "dehumanizing"? Seems like it is. Hypocrisy, anyone?

The royal wedding is this weekend and we discuss ... why you shouldn't give a damn about it. The bride's family is essentially the Kardashians without the sex tape. We fought and won a war so we wouldn't have to care what those people do. So why is the media obsessing over it?

Finally, President Trump put to be the "Laurel or Yanny" controversy, once and for all. In a funny video released by the White House, which we play for you, Trump gives the definitive answer to the question that has wasted a million work hours this week.

We won a war so we wouldn't have to care about this

On today's episode of The Daily Daily Caller Podcast...

It's not often such an obvious example of media bias comes along, but on today's show we examine how a comment from President Donald Trump about violent MS-13 gang members was purposefully distorted by "journalists" to imply the president was talking about all immigrants.

Context is everything, and journalists from Andrea Mitchell at NBC News to the New York Times to Vox News deliberately lied about the context of Trump's comments, calling MS-13 members "animals," to feed the left-wing narrative that he hates immigrants.

It's expected for politicians to lie to gain political advantage and paint their opponents in an unfavorable light, but so many journalists took the exact same spin and "reported" it as fact.

Vox News blamed Trump for their taking his statement out of context because he wasn't explicit enough for their feeble brains. "It's not clear who the president was referring to --- whether he was simply picking up on Sheriff Mims's reference to MS-13 gang members or referring to deportees more broadly. But the president didn’t exactly bend over backward to specify that not all immigrants deported by this administration are 'animals,'" they wrote.

When you hear the entire audio, it's unambiguous to anyone who hasn't recently suffered a severe closed-head injury that the President was talking explicitly about MS-13. But liberal journalists never let the facts stand in the way of a good narrative.

It's a disgrace. Context matters, which is why these liberal outlets refused to provide to their audiences.

The New York Times dropped a bombshell story yesterday, though not one they intended to drop. In a long story on how the Obama administration started their spying on the Trump campaign, the Times inadvertently exposed how the old story --- that the investigation started because of George Papadopoulos got drunk in London and told an Australian diplomat about Russia allegedly having Hillary's hacked emails --- couldn't be true because the spying started three days before the FBI even knew about the drunken ramblings of the low-level campaign volunteer.

Facts matter, or at least they're supposed to. Unless the FBI has a time machine, their old story for how the investigation began was a lie.
