Full Hour | Today, great 1210WPHT weekend host and owner of SaveJersey.com, Matt Rooney filled in on the Dom Giordano Program. Matt brings with him a great slew of guests hitting upon multiple topics, including Trump campaign representatives and local leaders. First, Matt welcomes in Karoline Leavitt, National Press Secretary for the Trump campaign, onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear her thoughts on the developments surrounding the presidential election. Matt and Leavitt first discuss a new initiative hoping to drive mail-in voter registration, sending listeners to SwampTheVoteUSA.com. Then, Leavitt and Rooney delve into the messaging of the Harris campaign, with both pointing to evidence of flip-flopping and hypocrisy from the candidate and her staff. Also, Leavitt and Rooney preview the upcoming debate, and an interview on CNN featuring Kamala and running mate Tim Walz.
Full Hour | In today’s third hour, Dom previews the upcoming presidential debate here in Philadelphia, discussing with Dan who he hopes to see if he's able to make it into the spin room. Then, Dom delves into a conversation about RFK's treatment by his own family, noting some of the dark things that the Kennedy family has gotten away with.
Then, Dom welcomes Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron, who's now an author of a line of amazingly beneficial children's books for Brave Books. In the books, Cameron uses faith and God to lay forth great stories for children, offering moral lessons similar to the ones that have made Cameron the man he is today. Those morals and beliefs, rooted largely in Christianity, have somehow become offensive to some in today's society, leading to a complete shunning by the Guinness Book of World Records as he sets record breaking crowds with his See You At The Library book-reading events, clearly unseating a recent Drag Queen Story Hour here in Philadelphia. Cameron explains why faith is so important to him, the pushback he's faced both here and in Hollywood for being so open about his beliefs, and previews his upcoming book Born to Be Brave. Dom welcomes in RNC Co-Chair Michael Whatley back onto the Dom Giordano Program, to hear his thoughts on multiple stories unfolding as we lead up to the 2024 election. First, Giordano asks for some clarification on a lawsuit filed in Detroit that calls attention to the city’s biased recruiting in poll watchers, noting a very large imbalance between Republican and Democratic watchers. Then, Whatley and Giordano discuss the conversation around the debate, with Whatley explaining the beef developing from the RNC about demands made by the Harris campaign, noting how the debate is priority but only with fair conditions. Whatley expands on this, noting the thirst of the American public to hear Trump and Harris debate the issues rather than try and burn one another with open microphones. Dom welcomes in Ben Rose of the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Investment and Development Authority to hear what to expect during the off-season in Wildwood. Rose, who's become a great friend of the show, tells us about an awesome drag race event coming up in October, and notes that the events continue all the way through the winter. Today on the Dom Giordano Program, Sunday night WPHT host and head of SaveJersey.com, Matt Rooney, sat in the big seat to fill-in for Dom as he enjoys some well-deserved time off in Wildwood. First, Matt welcomes in Jessie Jane Duff, Former Gunnery Sergeant with active duty experience in the Marines, onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear her thoughts on the anniversary of the horribly botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, noting why Kamala is largely responsible for the horrible reputation we've earned when dealing with foreign adversaries. This leads Matt and Duff into a review of last week's DNC, with Duff explaining why she's embarrassed to think that Tim Walz is the epitome of masculinity in 2024. Then, Matt gives away a bunch of prizes for Money Melody and the Side Topic of the Day! (Photo by Grant Baldwin/Getty Images)
Matt Rooney, filling in on the Dom Giordano Program, delves into issues of the economy, welcoming in great economist, author of GovZilla, Stephen Moore, back onto the show. Moore and Rooney delve into Kamala's positivity toward price-fixing, with Moore noting the negative implications that socialistic policies would have on American life.
