This week, Cipriano, in Krasner’s weekly press conference, pressed him on the edict set forth when first elected to reduce charges for anybody shoplifting a value of $500 or less. Krasner outright called Cipriano a liar, which prompted Giordano to invite the reporter on to tell what exactly happened.
