Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom leads off by telling of multiple stories out of Hollywood. Then, Dom welcomes legendary sportswriter Ray Didinger back onto the Dom Giordano Program on the eve of Eagles training camp to preview the upcoming season. First, Ray tells us what he’s been up to, telling that his great compilation of the stories he’s written throughout his career, One Last Read, has now been released in paperback. With the release, Ray tells Dom, he and longtime WIP co-host Glen Macnow will be doing a talk about the book at the Uptown Theater on August 8th, ahead of a return of Tommy and Me to the theater in September. Full Hour | Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by welcoming listeners back to Wildwood as he broadcasts live from the Convention Center on the boardwalk. First, Dom tells of an interview featuring Phil Murphy on CBS News that again did not ask him about the windmill situation off the coast of New Jersey. Dom points listeners to a picture of a weekend golf tournament that features turbines in the backgrounds, hammering down how the industry will negatively affect tourism at the shore. Then, Dom offers his thoughts on the continued protesting by the United States Women’s National Soccer Team, with Producer Dan picking Dom’s brain, asking how we can require patriotism out of those who represent our Country. Then, while introducing the Side Topic of the Day, Dom and producer Dan have a conversation about the greatness of Tony Bennett, reflecting on the miraculous concerts he held while suffering through Alzheimer’s late in his life.

Dom Giordano, WPHT host and former teacher, has dedicated much of his daily show toward parents who are taking it into their own hands to push back against school boards that have a negative impact on their children. This has culminated in a weekly podcast on education, Readin', Writin', and Reason, which has allowed wonderful relationships to develop between Giordano, educators, and parents throughout the country who are speaking out against overbearing school boards.

First, Dom welcomes back Riley Gaines, former NCAA swimmer who's become a women's rights and Title IX activist, back on the show. Gaines, who made news after speaking out against transgendered swimmers including Penn's Lia Thomas, offers updates on what she's been up to, first responding to Lia Thomas announcing this week that they're an "antifa super soldier," which doesn't surprise the host or the guest. Then, Riley tells about the launch of her new podcast, “Gaines for Girls,” telling that she hopes to share her message with young girls, hoping to empower them and giving them a voice in a strange world in which biological men are competing against biological women. Also, Gaines updates her push to have other big women athletes speak out, explaining some movement she's seen, telling what she hopes to accomplish with having some big names sign on.

Then, Dom welcomes in State Senator Kim Ward who’s incredibly upset with Governor Josh Shapiro after reneging on promises he recently made concerning the implementation of the Lifeline Scholarship program, which was written into the recent budget. In an agreement made with Democrats, Republicans made multiple concessions to install a system that would allow parents and students to choose where they would like to be schooled, an ideology Shapiro employed and allegedly exploited to get elected as Governor of our State. Senator Kim Ward discusses the move by Shapiro, pointing out the hypocrisy and the damage that his flipped stance on the issue will have on parents in Pennsylvania.

Dom welcomes Mayor Joseph Mancini of Long Beach Township onto the Dom Giordano Program after hearing that he has joined with Mayors and other leaders from coastal New Jersey counties to protest the wind turbines being forced off their shores, which will greatly affect the local economy. Mancini suggests that we may have another Bridgegate-type scenario on our hands, explaining that the main thoroughfare onto his island has been assigned emergency construction, causing a traffic nightmare. Mancini stresses the negative implications of such a move, telling that the 30/40 minute normal travel time to the local hospital has been pushed to about an hour and half. Dom welcomes Dr. Marty Makary back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. hearings in front of Congress over censorship. First, Makary breaks down the hearing, explaining why he appreciates what Kennedy brought to the table yesterday, explaining the censorship he’s faced when offering a countering opinion on the societal norm during Coronavirus. This leads Dom to ask Dr. Makary about Fauci, wondering whether his decision-making has been nefarious, with Makary telling that he truly believes Dr. Fauci to want the best for his Country, but has consistently been on the wrong end of things. Then, Dom asks Makary how much validity we should offer things said by Kennedy, who’s been labeled a conspiracy theorist by the Left, with Makary offering a very calculated opinion on the critiques that Kennedy has about our medical system. Also, Dr. Makary tells us what’s next for him, explaining that he hopes to tackle the insurance industry, working for a way to cut out the middleman and lower prices for businesses providing insurance to their workers.
