Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by asking the audience first who is more courageous, President Biden for his trip to Ukraine or former President Donald Trump for his trip to East Palestine, Ohio. Then, Dom loops back to a more local story, playing back clips from a press conference held today by Philadelphia officials including Mayor Jim Kenney after the murder of Temple Police Officer Chris Fitzgerald, honing in particularly on one clip of Kenney using the situation to grandstand about gun rights, irrelevantly comparing the purchase of guns to the purchase of alcohol.
Then, Dom welcomes in John McNesby, President of Philadelphia’s FOP Lodge 5, after the official tweeted, ‘stop with all the excuses. The s-head pulled the trigger. Stop the blame game and let the cops do the job they were trained to do. #backtheblue,’ following a press conference held by Kenney and Krasner following the tragic shooting death of Temple University officer Chris Fitzgerald. McNesby explains his frustration with those in charge, explaining how the current administration does everything in their power to make the jobs of Police as hard as possible. Also, McNesby previews the upcoming race for the next Mayor of Philadelphia, telling why he finds it hard to endorse any candidates who currently serve a position in the City.
Then, after hanging up with McNesby, Dom continues on with the topic of policing in Philadelphia, but also launches his side topic of the day, asking what the official state smell of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Delaware would be. Then, Dom takes some calls, and tells about an upcoming guest next hour, Dr. Joel Fitzgerald, father of fallen Temple University police officer Chris Fitzgerald. (Photo by Aaron P.
