Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes Pennsylvania Rep. Frank X. Ryan back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss an open letter that he penned to the Wolf administration concerning the strength of the integrity of our elections. Representative Ryan tells about the letter, addressed to Acting Secretary Leigh Chapman, which calls into question the process used to verify the votes after a 2018 Directive that instructs counties to register voters with no verification of identity. Rep. Ryan explains what this means for election security, and tells why he hopes to find answers and get this figured out before the 2022 Election next week.
Then, Dom welcomes Liz Preate-Havey, head of Montgomery County’s GOP, back onto the Dom Giordano Program for more on election integrity, discussing with Preate-Havey the changes to rules centered on drop box voting. Preate-Havey reveals that new guidelines enforce that those utilizing drop boxes only drop one ballot at a time, telling that any time multiple ballots are cast, any invalid ballots will be stamped and mailed to the DA to handle. Preate-Havey tells that there will be poll workers officiating at the drop boxes, making sure that voters only drop one ballot. Then, Preate-Havey and Giordano discuss differences in drop box rules from county to county, with Liz stressing the importance of uniformity in drop box rules. (Photo by Getty Images)
