Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing developments in a story he broke earlier in the week, telling that the Philadelphia Police Department are preparing to overstaff officers and for more overtime due to an upcoming visit by the drag racing crew who killed two in Wildwood. Then, Dom tells about an event held outside this morning at the United States Attorney’s office in Philadelphia today featuring Pastor Bill Devlin, in which both Dom and Devlin spoke out against the FBI raid of pro-Lifer Mark Houck, who was arrested by around 25 federal officers with a gun to his head after allegedly shoving an escort outside Planned Parenthood. Then, Dom tells about a hilarious moment in yesterday’s Krasnerland, in which he and Dan realized that Larry Krasner, while forcing others to stand behind him awkwardly in press conference, brought a chair along so he could sit while others spoke. Also, Dom asks listeners how they think marijuana will weigh into the midterms after Joe Biden expunged the records of those charged with low-level marijuana possession.
Then, Dom welcomes Steve Keeley, ace reporter of Fox29, back onto the Dom Giordano Program for an update on crime in and around Philadelphia. First, Dom asks for Steve’s answer to today’s side question, asking for somebody in a duo who became less famous than their partner, which leads into a debate as to who’s more famous between Paul McCartney and John Lennon. Then, Dom and Steve tell about something they’ve both been working on uncovering, with the two reporting that the Philadelphia Police is organizing a counter-effort to an upcoming gathering of drag racers and car aficionados that recently killed two when driving irresponsibly in Wildwood. Also, Giordano asks Keeley for updates of other stories relating to crime in the area, including a story of a carjacking in Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill while a man was using an ATM.
