Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by offering an update centered on the Senate race between Dr. Mehmet Oz and John Fetterman, playing back a clip of a meeting between Dr. Oz and community leaders who told the candidate that it’s easier to find Fentanyl in Philadelphia than it is baby formula. Dom points to this as an example of Dr. Mehmet Oz’s true concern for the voters in Pennsylvania, contrasting it against Fetterman’s lack of visits to the City. Then, Giordano plays back clips from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis from over the weekend, where the Governor warned looters about Florida residents practicing their right to the 2nd Amendment, and also defends those who didn’t leave by asking if reporters would prefer them be forcefully removed from their homes. Also, Dom plays back a clip from Vice President Kamala Harris who said that equity needs to play into the recovery process from Hurricane Ian, playing back a response from Rep. Donalds who agrees with Giordano that we’re about equality, not equity.
Then, Dom welcomes candidate for Pennsylvania Governor Doug Mastriano back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a rally Mastriano held over the weekend in Chester County which received negative press, which was, according to Mastriano, an unfair representation of the events. Then, Giordano and Mastriano hone in on Philadelphia and South Eastern Pennsylvania, with Mastriano stressing the importance of a return of law and order to Philadelphia, which has seen Democratic polices run the City into the ground. Then, Giordano asks Mastriano about what he considers to be overbearing FBI raids by Josh Shapiro and the Department of Justice on pro-Life advocates, and Mastriano’s call for 40 days of prayer and fasting in the lead up to the election.
