In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes in a caller with a special story. During his speech during the Dr. Oz rally over the weekend, the crowd was stunned when a woman passed out. Dr. Mehmet Oz leaped into action, hopping over a barrier to provide medical aid to the woman. That woman, Rita, joins Giordano to tell her side of the story after the medical emergency. Rita reveals that, after fainting, she opened up her eyes once, then a second time and saw that she was being tended to by the candidate she was there to see. She tells about her trip to the hospital, with Oz staffers by her side the entire time, and a text exchange with a Doctor later that night for a checkup.
Then, Dom welcomes gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss his continued campaign against Josh Shapiro. First, Dom welcomes Doug back onto the show, asking about an upcoming appearance at the Drexelbrook Event Center at 6PM on Thursday, with Mastriano telling why he’s coming back to the Southeastern Pennsylvania region. Then, Giordano asks Mastriano to clarify his educational plan after multiple school board officials publicly endorsed his opponent, with Mastriano telling of the importance of putting educational spending in the hands of parents through school choice. Then, Dom asks Mastriano for an update on the debate situation, with Mastriano explaining why he believes Shapiro will not debate him. (Photo by Michael M. Santiago/Getty Images)
