Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes attorney Francis Malofiy and client and former Allentown School District teacher Jason Moorehead back onto the Dom Giordano Program. Moorehead’s story is one that Giordano has been following for a while after the teacher was terminated from his job after it was uncovered that he attended the January 6th rally in Washington D.C. Moorehead has maintained that he did indeed attend the speaking portion of the day’s events, but did not go inside the Capitol where riots broke out. In today’s update, Malofiy reveals why he and Moorehead have chosen to file suit against the school district for an assassination of his professional life, telling that the district doubled down without clearing his name.

Then, Dom takes a call from a listener by the name of Scott from Mt. Laurel, NJ, updating a thread from the show last week when Scott called in to tell Dom that he’d be calling play-by-play in a Phillies matchup. Producer Dan, when Scott initially called in, asked Scott to somehow sneak the word ‘antelope’ into the broadcast, which he successfully achieved. Scott tells Dom and Dan about his time spent in the booth and what he gained from the experience. Then, Giordano jumps into a conversation centered on Villanova University and transgenderism, telling of a new edict that requires faculty to use correct pronouns. Then, Giordano swings over into a conversation centered on John Fetterman’s wealth, revealing that Fetterman, while using Mehmet Oz’s wealth against him in a campaign, sends his children to private school in lieu of the local public school. This leads Dom into a discussion about Philadelphia’s school budget, lamenting about the lack of air conditioning and other necessities even with their 4 billion dollar budget. Then, after the first break, Giordano plays back clips relating to the Biden administration to forgive student loans, particularly a clip from Elizabeth Warren, who when asked about the fairness of the proposition, dodges the question and tells how she believes colleges need to be more affordable. Giordano, annoyed, tells that Elizabeth Warren refuses to do anything to address the hyperinflation in college and university tuition pricing.

First, Dom asks Dr. Oz about a topic he spent a good chunk of the hour on, asking for Fetterman’s thoughts about the candidate sending his children to private school while simultaneously trashing Dr. Oz for his wealth. Then, Giordano asks Dr. Oz about inflation and whether that’s become the top issue, and why he continues to hone in on the rampant spike in prices as a cornerstone issue. Dom Giordano, WPHT host and former teacher, has dedicated much of his daily show toward parents who are taking it into their own hands to push back against school boards that have a negative impact on their children. This has culminated in a weekly podcast on education, Readin', Writin', and Reason, which has allowed wonderful relationships to develop between Giordano, educators, and parents throughout the country who are speaking out against overbearing school boards.

First, Giordano welcomes Beth Ann Rossica, head of Back to School PA, back onto the podcast for an update on masking throughout the country as schools prepare for students to return to classrooms. First, Giordano asks for a general temperature of masking, with Beth Ann Rossica explaining that most schools have not required masks to return to schools, pointing to the Philadelphia School District as an anomaly for requiring students to mask up. Giordano asks what the Philadelphia Superintendent uses to justify the mask requirement, pointing to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Coronavirus guidelines that run counter to the proposition. Rossica explains the negative implications of requiring students in Philadelphia to wear masks, and discusses the lack of logic in the requirement with the knowledge that students will be unmasked in public, on public transportation, and in their personal lives.

Then, Dom welcomes in Lynn Landes, Founder of HealthAlertPhilly.org, to the podcast to discuss her time spent speaking in protest in front of the Philadelphia School Board meeting after the School District implemented a masking policy. Giordano and Landes discuss the ridiculous notion of the masking policy, bringing to attention both CDC and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia guidance that suggests less restrictive masking and vaccination policies. Landes and Giordano tell that Philadelphia is an anomaly compared to most other school districts, explaining that most local districts have followed the less restrictive guidance. Landes discusses the importance of speaking up, and tells why parents need to express their voices to ensure that their kids are being educated appropriately.
