Jim Jacobs, a father in the West Chester Area School District, joins the Dom Giordano Program after having to transfer his child, a student with over 4.0 GPA, out of Stetson Middle School after some incredibly radical initiatives during Pride Month. During gay pride celebrations, Jacobs tells that students were encouraged to wear dresses during Gay Pride Month, and a male teacher taught a class in high heels. Jacobs further explains his qualms, telling of a punishment his son faced for wearing a pair of Uggs to school, which administrators called slippers, and the response when raising a concern about the teacher wearing high heels. In today’s third hour, Dom welcomes in Del Kolde, Senior Attorney at the Institute for Free Speech, onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a big win for the Institute against the Pennsbury School District. For a while now on the Dom Giordano Program, Dom has followed and hosted guests who have faced horrible censorship and silencing when trying to speak out against their local school board. In Pennsbury, Pennsylvania, it was at its near worst, with a solicitor regularly shouting down parents who were speaking of qualms with the board. Kolde discusses the case individually, first talking about the general scene at school board meetings, then telling what would be legally appropriate from the school board when debating tough issues.

Full Hour | In today’s third hour, Dom welcomes in Rich Helfant, Executive Director and CEO of Lucy the Elephant to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a ‘controversy’ as reported by the Philadelphia Inquirer over a mailer sent out in a fundraising effort. In the mailer, Helfant uses the phrase ‘Never Forget, Never Surrender’ alongside an image of Lucy standing next to a wrecking ball, but tells that when developing the promotional device, Helfant, being a Jewish man and member of Washington D.C.’s Holocaust Museum, didn’t even think about the association. Helfant apologized to the sole complaint, and said that it will never happen again, which Dom feels is the appropriate response, with Helfant explaining why he employed this strategy. Also, Helfant updates the restoration effort for the legendary roadside attraction and tells listeners how they can contribute.

Then, Dom brings the conversation back to national politics, playing back clips from a testimony by Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, who was pressed on the economy legitimacy of electric vehicles. Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom Giordano leads off by telling that former CNN host Christopher Cuomo has found a new career path, applying to become a volunteer firefighter in the Hamptons. Then, Giordano reveals an op-ed written in the Inquirer by television director Kevin Dowling, in which Dowling critiques conservatives, saying that Republicans need to stop calling themselves conservatives in an effort to separate themselves from the radical right. Then, Dom circles back to a conversation centered on the PA Supreme Court decision concerning former Philadelphia Police Officer Ryan Pownall, telling how it connects back to Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner.

Then, Dom welcomes Philadelphia’s FOP Lodge 5 President John McNesby back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the breaking news out of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court concerning the case of former Officer Ryan Pownall, who shot and killed Daniel Jones, a black man, as he was fleeing on a dirt bike. Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by breaking some local news, telling that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has ruled in favor of former Philadelphia Police Officer Ryan Pownall before his upcoming trial for the murder of Daniel Jones, a black man who was fleeing from police when he was killed. According to the decision, the prosecutor challenged a likely defense shooting permitted under PA state law justifying the use of deadly force. Dom spends a majority of the first half hour discussing the case and taking calls, then introduces the side question, asking listeners for people throughout history who displayed ‘guts.’

Then, Robert Cahaly, Chief Pollster for The Trafalgar Group, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to break down some recent polling results, both locally in Pennsylvania and nationally ahead of the 2024 election. First, Dom asks Cahaly about a recent poll that the Group held concerning the Convention of States, asking why the organization regularly polls voters on their opinion of the Convention of States, and why he feels it’s a good reflection of how certain States vote. Then, Giordano asks Cahaly how polls have settled following the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, with the expert telling how he believes the issue will affect the midterm elections.
