Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the absolutely horrific homicide numbers from Philadelphia over the weekend, telling of a national report of homicides and revealing that Philadelphia incurred half of the nationwide homicides. Then, Giordano tells about Nancy Pelosi’s husband’s DUI, revealing the Newsweek headline that focuses on the conservative reaction rather than the incident itself. After that, Giordano laments about gas prices, telling about a solution proposed by AG Josh Shapiro of a Gas Tax refund, telling why he takes umbrage with the solution even though the problem needs to be solved. Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing developments centered around the police response to the Uvalde, TX school shooting. Giordano expresses his disappointment in the delay by the local police while children sat inside in danger, explaining what he thinks should and could have been done to change the outcome of the situation. Then, Giordano talks about the skyrocketing crime in and around Philadelphia, regretfully reporting on another weekend full of homicides. Also, Dom and producer Dan discuss the continued trend of ATVs and dirt bikes ravaging Philadelphia streets and the continued reluctance by Philadelphia officials to do anything about it. In addition, Giordano and Dan discuss former Philadelphia Phillies and now San Francisco Giants manager Gabe Kapler’s decision to protest the anthem after the horrific Uvalde shooting. Also, Giordano and Dan debate whether Tom Cruise and Top Gun: Maverick is being over-hyped.

In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes Congressman Jeff Van Drew in for a Memorial Day check-in to discuss a bill he’s proposing to try and strengthen security in schools. First, Dom asks for the Congressman’s overall thoughts on the 2nd Amendment, with Van Drew explaining the importance of the right to bear arms and why it’s a necessity for the United States of America. Then, Giordano and Van Drew discuss solutions for an epidemic of violence in schools, with Van Drew expressing lament over the amount of money dedicated to foreign affairs rather than keeping kids safe in schools.

Then, Giordano talks about Memorial Day itself, playing back a clip from the Christian Life Church of Bensalem in which Pastor Mark English stresses the importance of remembering those who sacrificed for our freedom.
