This month’s guest is the one and only Mark Houghton. Originally from England, Mark moved to Malaysia at a young age to pursue his dream of learning Chinese martial arts. His fate found him then going to Hong Kong to study under the great Lau Kar Leung and Mark became a well known action stuntman within the Hong Kong film industry. He has worked on over 40 movies alongside some of the greatest action stars on films including the Legend of the Drunken Master and Knock Off. Mark is not only unique being a westerner working in this field, but also for being Lau Kar Leung’s formal and chief disciple. Lau Kar Leung was not only a legend within Hong Kong cinema, but also within the art of Hung Gar. In 2018 Mark Houghton released a documentary about his fascinating life called I Am The White Tiger.
