The Drunken Boxing Podcast #040 

Dennis Rovere is a martial artist who published a book called the Xingyi Quan of the Chinese Army which was a translation of Xingyi Quan master Huang Bonians military manual from 1928. Dennis Rovere is the last senior martial arts student of Col. Chang Xiang Wu who was  a former chief instructor of Military Strategy and Xingyi Quan at the Central Military Academy in Nanjing known as the Huang Pu Military Academy. Mr Rovere has recognition from the Taiwanese government as a martial arts instructor and has received a presidential award for culture as well as from their special forces and recon commandos. He has also trained with the Wu Jing military police and gong an public security bureau in the Peoples' Republic of China.
