Greetings, Comrades! This has been a LONG and hard day for us, I've done a lot of planning and research and everything, but here you go. The first news digest is here, more will follow - this one, like I said in the previous episode, I'm not charging Patrons for this, so don't worry. Have a great day, stay safe and glory to Ukraine!

Greetings, Comrades! This might be a bit old since the news change every day and this was recorded on 14.02, however, when the time to get Russia on our news radar comes again…IF this one is truly over now, which I find doubtful, then this will definitely be informative for you. Juris is a Latvian/American journalist, one of the best we have, living in Latvia for many years now, but originally his stomping grounds are Boston. He’s been on the show before as well, and I hope you’ll enjoy his perspective!

Greetings, Comrades! This episode is all about what shortages we experienced in the Soviet Union and how 21 people died, because we lacked chewing gum. And it's actually not funny. Some of this stuff even surprised me, out of all things. Enjoy! Oh, and do consider becoming our patron at patreon.com/theeasternborder or just visit theeasternborder.lv and donate to the show!

Greetings, Comrades! As we promised to Bob, here's our episode on the postal service of the USSR. This was a huge subject and we had to cut some stuff out as this was already a long episode - but it's chock full of interesting facts and stories, like a care package sent to some poor conscript in Vorkut or Khabarovsk. This episode made me realize that logistics are a nightmare and that folks who care about our mail are unsung heroes. And hey - if some of them will listen to this ep, while doing their delivieries, it'll make me a tad bit happier. This one's dedicated to you, postal workers! Enjoy!
