One of the biggest questions I get all of the time on social media from other advisors is “SERIOUSLY – How on EARTH can you take an entire month off?”

So, this week I am diving into why and how my Summer Sabbaticals started… and how they have been hands-down the most profitable and productive thing I have done for my business. 

Yes, by taking a month off… completely unplugged… my profit went up. Counter intuitive? Not once you understand the business strategy behind the disconnection!!

·      How a major charity that I work with used this concept to identify gaps in their business structure… mind blown!

·      Why white space that comes from being unplugged and disconnected is so healthy for your business brain

What is delay delivery? Well as most of you might already know, it’s a cool little feature in outlook (and some other email service providers) that allows you to write an email and send it at a later time. This seems like kind of a funny tool to get excited about but today we’re going to talk about 6 ways you can use this tool to make your life a little easier.

And making your life easier as an advisor is what I am all about here at the Efficient Advisor. 

So this little email feature will save you time, help you not let things slip between the cracks AND help you follow up with your prospects. 

You can use Delay Delivery to:

·       Send appointment reminders

·       Help you establish boundaries and parameters

·       Send a nurture sequence to prospects

·       Assist with digital meeting prep

·       Follow up with clients on tasks and to dos

·       Remind yourself of stuff to do

So, efficiency is my thing and I get excited over even little tricks that save me time.

Copy and Paste..... Those words are music to my ears. 

Why? Because it means I did the work once, and now I can just use it over and over again.

Why? Because it means that it’s going to be easier than if I had to start from scratch.

Why? Because it means that I have more time to do other things that are ‘high value’ activities. 

Why? Because if you have turnover on your team it’s already created for the new person to follow. 

If you’ve followed the EA for any period of time…. You know I’m a HUGE fan of templating processes. They allow me and my team to work so much more efficiently. We use them for EVERYTHING.
