When shadow work sends you on a downward spiral of feeling like you're not enough, it's time to take a step back from trying to constantly 'fix yourself' and remember we are spiritual beings having a human experience, the challenges of life come with the human package, and perfection is a rigid b*tch. Lighten up and remember that you don't need to be or do anything else to be perfect. You already are. I promise.

In honor of National Eating Disorder Awareness Week, I am doing what I know to draw awareness to this topic so close to my heart, and why it is a huge part of my story and why I chose to share the healing powers of love and Yoga as my path.
This episode speaks to reasons why we may develop ED or have developed it over the years. ED can be obviously harmful for our physical, but just as (if not, more) taxing for our emotional and mental health.
I do offer some suggested methods of mindfulness around ED in this episode, but I am not a licensed professional. If you or someone you know may be struggling with ED, seek support by sharing with someone you feel safe with or speaking with a professional.

Tune into this inspiring episode to learn why
When we begin to set boundaries for ourselves, we are challenged to uphold them. Upholding boundaries is challenging because it requires severance from everything we thought we knew about ourselves and our lives. It also requires letting go of toxic people or self-identifying beliefs that are holding us back on our path to higher consciousness and spiritual growth.
Many people in our lives may not be on their own journey of self-development, so it's important that we practice love and compassion towards them as we begin to set and uphold our own personal boundaries so that we can experience our highest potential. We are the light and we can share it in a way that is clear and kind.
