Ep 17 – Redefining “rich” with Tiffany – The Rebellious Educator

Today we’re welcoming Tiffany Sinton, The Rebellious Educator, to the podcast.

We live under an outdated definition of what “rich” is. Many of us (myself included) have someone else’s definition of "rich" living rent-free inside our heads.

What happens when we don’t take a minute to question and redefine what this word actually means TO US – we unconsciously try to live someone else’s definition of "rich" OR we push it away, thinking it’s gross or not for us.

What happens when we REDEFINE it though?

This was the initial inspiration for me inviting Tiffany on, but what we uncovered by riffing together was so much more.

Honestly – we didn’t even get to talking about redefining rich until the very end - our energy had other plans, and we explored a lot of cutting edge ideas together.

"Capacity." I'm OBSESSED with this word.

Boundaries are one of the most important skills that we get to practice as empaths, visionaries, sensitive people.

They:

• Help us show up more as our authentic Selves (which means we enjoy our Life significantly more)

• Create stability and structure for our continued expansion + evolution

• Even let us relax because we are telling our energy system: "Hey - I've got you!!"

Whether you're new to practicing boundaries (I share a great way to practice this with "training wheels!") - or this is old hat stuff for you - tune in and gain new perspective on this vital practice.

Today I'm sharing what it was like to be in a cult for about 2 years.

Keep in mind - my cult experience wasn't like the documentaries you see on TV; mine was a lot more like an intimate, entangled mess of a relationship where I allowed someone else to use my time and energy for her benefit, all under the guise of her acting as my "spiritual guru".

Perhaps you can relate? Maybe you've given your power away to someone else - be it a romantic partner, a friend, a boss, a group of people.

I no longer look back on that period of my life as a "mistake"; in fact - it's been one of the most important parts of my journey of finding & anchoring in my own personal empowerment story.

Tune in and hear what I learned from that one time when I lost my sense of self and how I found my way back home.

Why is it seemingly so hard to let other people have a "negative opinion" - aka a judgement - about us? Why does this even matter to talk about? And what can we do about it?
