Over the course of just one month, President Gerald Ford survived two attempts on his life. The first attempt was on September 5th, 1975, when a follower of Charles Manson tried to shoot him at close range. The second attempt was just seventeen days later, by an unassuming housewife named Sara Jane Moore.
Investigative journalist and author Geri Spieler discusses the thrilling case, as well as her correspondence with Moore herself, as detailed in her book, Housewife Assassin.

In 2016, John Rafter Jr. filed for divorce from his wife, Karina, for the second time. The separation split their family apart, and John lived with his 13-year-old son. One morning, John's son woke up late for school to discover his father's lifeless body in bed with a shotgun. Though John had struggled with mental health and suicidal ideation in the past, this was not a case of suicide - it was homicide.
Henrico Deputy Commonwealth Attorney Matthew Ackley and Assistant Commonwealth Attorney Susan Parrish discuss their prosecutorial work on the case and share how they were able to bring justice for John.

After 31 days of testimony and four days of deliberation, Karen Read's retrial has come to an end. Today, jurors found Read not guilty of second-degree murder in the death of John O'Keefe, as well as not guilty of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. She was, however, found guilty of operating under the influence of liquor, a charge for which she was sentenced to one year probation.
FOX News Correspondent Bryan Llenas joins from outside the courthouse in Dedham, Massachusetts with the latest reporting.
