  • Geek Down 7-30-19 - Lion King, Almost There, Guava Island, Dr Horribles Horrible Stories
Getting musical with THE LION KING -- the photorealistic computer-animated remake of the animated retelling of the previously reimagined (*whew!) animated take on a Shakespearean classic. But now with Beyoncé!! Also we're asking the hard questions like: how did 'Doctor Horrible' get horrible, or 'Bad Horse' break bad, or 'Moist' become he who shall not be named... by women? It's DR. HORRIBLE'S HORRIBLE STORIES! Childish Gambino let's us all in on the secret with GUAVA ISLAND. And finally, a game that makes "Super Meat Boy" look nerfed - ALMOST THERE: THE PLATFORMER
In the house: Shayna Wakefield, Pat B, Manda Panda (@ESHnews)

  • WrestleDown 7-29-19 - Making a comeback for the 2nd... 3rd... no, 4th time!
We have a super-sized episode because we have super-sized goals: We talk about our highlights of the week, including the G1 Climax and the latest Pro-Wrestling EVE show. We get into how we'd improve WWE's flagging ratings. And finally, we talk some of our favorite late career resurgences, inspired by Lance Archer but praising Daniel Bryan, Kofi Kingston and others.

  • Geek Down 7-23-19 - WWE Evolve + Extreme Rules, Catch - 22, Dr Mario World, Frankensteins Monster...
Mario returns to his true passion: drug-dealing! Does the good doctor still push the best pills? We'll see with DR.MARIO WORLD. On the subject of bad Doctors, David Harbour gets experimental with FRANKENSTEIN'S MONSTER'S MONSTER FRANKENSTEIN. Not to be outdone, George Clooney brings his own pet project to life in his miniseries war dramedy adaptation of CATCH-22. And kicking it all off is a combo move from WWE with EVOLVE and EXTREME RULES!

  • WrestleDown 7-18-19 - Rebel without a Stable
We talk about the highlights of the week in wrestling, following last weekend of Too Much Wrestling. And we talk up our favorite REBEL characters, in honor of Kevin Owens once again feuding with Shane McMahon.

  • Geek Down 7-16-19 - Aladdin, Trinkets, Wolverine Exit Wounds, Annabelle
Petty to grand larceny is a bonding experience in Netflix's TRINKETS. Also, learn the benefits of keeping cursed lethal armaments in your linen closet in ANNABELLE COMES HOME. Then one day you're dusting off some antiques, the next Will Smith is teaching you how to dance (he does that a lot) in Disney's live-action ALADDIN. Speaking of dusting off antiques, deep-diving into Logan's past for no discernable reason in WOLVERINE: EXIT WOUNDS.

  • WrestleDown 7-14-19 - Too Much Too Soon
Often times there's too much wrestling out there, such as this weekend that featured WWE Extreme Rules, AEW's Fight for the Fallen, NJPW's ongoing G1 Climax, and Evolve's 10th Anniversary show (Heck, there was so much going on, we forgot there was another NJPW event Sunday!). So we made our own best-of card: Jere cherry picked his most anticipated matches, and Dennis entered his imagination to invent his own event. What madness awaits? Find out!

  • Wrestledown 7-4-19 - Real American's just say NO to Hogan
We had to do this episode because there was a lot of great wrestling all of this past weekend, but most notably we had AEWs second show, Fyter Fest and Pro Wrestling EVE's Wrestlequeendom II. We spend two halves of the episode talking the two and looking forward to the bright future of wrestling!

  • Geek Down 7-2-19 - Spider - Man Far From Home, Child's Play, Detective Pikachu, Steambirds Alliance
Join us for a little soiree with sweaty men, dolls, sticky spandex, and possibly some cuddly animals... whatever you're thinking? Probably not that.
SPIDER-MAN FAR FROM HOME takes our hero on a European vacation - no Griswalds or Python's in site, just Mysterious figures and looming annihilation. BOXING CHAMPS gives a mobile-game feel to the pugilistic platform. STEAMBIRDS ALLIANCE is a high-flying bullet-hell that wants to be Overwatch?!! Chucky's back with an upgraded blood-thirst and subroutines lacking compassion in CHILD'S PLAY. But not even that can escape the Pokesleuth, DETECTIVE PIKACHU (...this might be the nerdiest story we've ever done)
In the house: Pat B, Rocco with guests Ripley & Mike Fallick

  • Wrestledown 6-29-19 - Major Domo Promos
We talk WWE Stomping Grounds and talk about our favorite promos. If Ya Smell What the Ruthless Aggression is Hard Times, daddy!
