The Geek Down

We interrupt Amy's review to talk about Jeremy London. He's the good one, right...?

Vermont's dipping it's toe into the convention game and Amy Macabre got to check out the fledgling geekdom first-hand. There were special guests, lavish events, and even celebrity hijinks of the highest, TMZ-level savagery. Did it measure up? Is it worth checking out? Does it warrant a round 2? We've got the inside info... inside

Can Jean Claude still kick it? Is Summer Slam still the jam? And can Telltale make you the Knight, or are you just a punk bitch wearing hockey pads? Maaaaaaan, EVERYONE got their punches in for this one!

Sometime's you just need to throw suckas off a roof... 'Batman: The Telltale Series' is an episodic point-and-click graphic adventure game. A different approach than previous batman games where your primary objective is massive trauma to your knuckles using only the Joker's face, this one centers more on decision-making and Bruce Wayne's mental fortitude. Derrick gives the inside stuff

Rife with controversy, this years Summer Slam was a mix of brilliance and confusion. WWE's second biggest pay-per-view was loaded with highlights, lowlights, creamy middles... JM gives the full lowdown and we even bust on John Cena a bit (who saw THAT coming...???)

Pat got to flex his film degree a bit att he director Q&A screening of "Complete Unknown" starring Rachel Weiss and Michael Shannon. As a man contemplates moving to a new state with his wife for her graduate program, an old flame - a woman who often changes identities - reenters his life at a birthday dinner party. It was a solid film accompanied by a crap-tacular bull session.

Adam weighs in on Jean-Claude Van Damme's latest project - an Amazon TV show about himself. A famous action movie hero and martial arts star comes out of retirement to assume his alter ego as undercover private contractor named Jean-Claude Van Johnson. He must also deal with aging and his handler Vanessa, the ex he still loves.

We talk about a comic that was 20+ years in the making thanks to some bureaucratic bullshit, both fictional and real-world deaths that totally crush us, voice actors vs. actors' voices, and the rehashing of a rehash turns out to be the best thing on film

DCs changing images to be gay, George Takei wants his image to stay straight, Dame Dash HAS no image (pause for laugh), and at some point we hold a mirror image to Boston Comic Con.

Highlander: Endgame was a truly suck-ass film. But it sucks a little less when the casting gives us a laugh
