Ep. 075 - Don’t settle for a guy who isn’t interested in honoring God with his life.  No matter how cute or funny he is, it’s not worth it in the end. Settling is never worth it. 

Don’t lower the bar for a guy who’s cute and charming, but lacks godly character and a genuine love for God.⁣

⁣Don’t allow yourself to fall for a guy who makes you laugh, but cares only for himself. Don’t stay with a guy who says he loves you, but constantly pressures you to compromise. ⁣As satisfying as it might feel in the moment to be in a romantic relationship, the infatuation won’t last forever. ⁣

Wait for a man who will push you closer to Christ, rather than away.

Ep. 074 - It was a terrifying day for everyone in the country of Ukraine. The people of Ukraine woke up very early to radio stations and TV channels announcing that Russia had invaded their beloved homeland. Our sister woke up to sounds of bombing not far from her house. It was (and is) a literal nightmare.

We have the honor of hearing from our sister, Ellissa Petrenko, for her very first interview about that terrifying day (and the days that followed). Listen as she shares the five day journey of trying to escape the country, all while being nine months pregnant.

This is also a great reminder to continue praying for all the people of Ukraine. Pray first and foremost that they would come to know Jesus  in a personal way.

Ep. 072 - It’s been a long year. I (Bethany) never imagined I’d be sharing a story like this one. I knew miscarriages could be a possibility, but I never imagined I would have three back-to-back-to-back. 

My faith has been challenged in new ways. My relationship with my sweet husband has grown and deepened because of these losses. 

I know God is good. I know He has a plan. I trust Him. 

I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t know why I’m having these miscarriages. I don’t know the answer. But, I'm researching. I'm seeing a great Dr. I'm taking all the steps forward to try and figure this out. 

Learn how to TRUST God with me. Learn how to believe that He is GOOD even in the midst of the hard.  Let's unpack what it looks like to find joy in the Lord in the midst of loss.
