The God Minute

Today we are offering the Glorious Mysteries of the rosary prayed by Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York. He is a friend of the Vincentians (the religious order to which Fr. Ron and Fr. Mulhearn belong) and is in the gorgeous St. Patrick Cathedral in New York.

Concert Friday

Today's concert Friday is a nostalgic tribute to the music of Ekklesia, a music group from the Denver Metro area who gave the Church some beautiful music to sing at liturgy and use for meditation.  Enjoy!

IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S OKAY by Shirley Caesar

 It's alright, it's okay
Don't you let your troubles get in the way
 Just believe and have faith
Know that He is with you every day

Sometimes, it's hard to say you're doing okay
When you are trying to hide the pain on your face
 Times are getting harder
 You've prayed and you've prayed
Just keep hoping (hoping), believing (believing)
 Hold on to your faith

It's alright and it's okay (It's alright and it's okay)
Don't you let your troubles get in your way (Don't let your troubles)
Just believe and have faith (Just believe and have faith)
Know that He is with you every day (Know that Lord is with you, all of the way)

There are times when you can't seem to find your way (find your way, find your way)
The skies aren't talking, you can't feel night from day (night from day, night from day)
Put a smile on your face
Keep holding on (Keep holding on)
Brighter days are coming and it won't be long (It's alright)

It's alright and it's okay (It's alright, hey, it's okay)
Don't you let your troubles get in the way (Don't you let your troubles, don't let it get in your way)
Just believe and have faith (Just believe and have faith from mother)
Know that He's with you every day (Know that Lord is with you every step of the way)

It's alright and it's okay (It's alright, and it's okay)
Don't you let your troubles get in the way (Oh, don't you let your troubles get in your way)
Just believe and have faith (Oh babe, believe and have faith)
Know that He is with you every day (Know that the Lord is with you)

Aha, it's alright (Alright)
 It's alright (Alright)
 Alright (Alright)
 I know it'll (Alright)
Put a smile on your face (Alright)
Dry the tears from your eyes (Alright)
Lord said, it's gonna be alright, alright, alright, alright (Alright)
 (Take it Anthony)

I know it'll (Alright)
 Be alright (Alright)
 See, alright (Alright)
 Say alright (Alright)
Put a smile on your face (Alright)
 (I'm smiling right now)
 Just believe (Alright)
 (Yes, I'm)
 Brighter days are coming (Alright)
(Brighter days are gonna be alright)
It's gonna be alright (Don't cry)

It's alright and it's okay (It's alright and it's okay)
(Alright and it's gonna be okay)
Don't you let your troubles get in the way (Let your troubles get in the way)
 (Just don't let them)
Just believe and have faith (Wanna believe and have faith)
(And have faith, know that he is with you every day)
Know that He is with you every day (Know that He is with you every step of the way)

It's alright and it's okay (Yeah, it's alright, it's okay)
 (Don't you let your troubles)
Don't you let your troubles get in the way (Don't let troubles get in your way)
Just believe and have faith ('Cause you believe, have faith)
(See, Know that He is with you every day)
Know that He is with you every day
 (Every step of the way)

WHENEVER GOD SHINES HIS LIGHT by Van Morrison

Whenever God shines his light on me
Opens up my eyes so I can see
When I look up in the darkest night
And I know everything's going to be alright
In deep confusion, in great despair
When I reach out for him he is there
When I am lonely as I can be
And I know that God shines his light on me

Reach out for him (reach out for him), he'll be there (he'll be there)
With him your troubles (with him your troubles) you can share (you can share)
If you live (if you live), the life you love (the life you&
