"WOUNDS" by Jordan Feliz

Would you believe me if I said you're not beyond repair?
Would you believe me if I told you that I've been right there?

I've seen the light come in to my darkest rooms.
I can tell you, friend that His love heals wounds.
Look into my heart. Let it be the proof.
I'm only standing here 'cause His love heals wounds!

What does Peter Pan, Jesus and our Spiritual Life have in common? A great lesson about connecting with the holy. Sr. Kara explains in her reflection today. It's about SMILES.

SCRIPTURE
Psalm 33
Romans 12: 21

Throughout our lives we are face with things, people and situations that are good and evil.  We are encouraged in Sacred Scripture today to battle evil with good.  We believe that God is love.  God is good.  Depending on Him, we can accept this invitation and find ourselves approaching things, people and situations with good.

13th Sunday in Ordinary Time

SCRIPTURE
Mark 5: 21 - 43

In the Gospel today three individuals seek Jesus, as a last resort, to assist them in their need. The woman with a hemorrhage, a synagogue leader named Jairus and Jairus' daughter all are in desperate need of what Jesus can do for them.

Why is it that, like them, we often wait until we have exhausted every other avenue before we look to Jesus?

The Fourth Luminous Mystery - The Transfiguration

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

A slower, quiet and peaceful Concert Friday for our prayer today.  I also put this together with adoration and put the video on our BLOG menu on the app (and website).  Same music... just with the visual of adoration along with it. I love it...I hope you do too....
