The God Minute

(Fr. Ron) - Yesterday was All Saints Day and today we remember those in our lives who have gone before us in faith. May God's love continue to hold them in perpetual light as we celebrate the solemnity of All Souls.

All Saints Day today. An appropriate song for the occasion, "Heart of Worship", sung by Phil Wickham

ROMANS 7: 23 (Fr. Ron) - People in every age have recognized the battle between good and evil in the world. Jesus did too. St. Paul reminds us what Halloween reminds us in the Christian tradition- evil is also within.

RANDOM WEDNESDAY (Peggy) - It's nice to know we don't have to have it all together, isn't it?

MATTHEW 15: 24 (Fr. Ron) - Rushing through life it's not hard to sometimes get a bit lost or disoriented. Luckily we have a God who is there to call us back.

ISAIAH 6: 8 (Fr. Ron) - As co-creators of God's Kingdom we're asked about our response to the building of that reality.

1 COR 12: 12 (Gerry) - Harboring grudges and creating walls between us is a choice.. St. Paul reminds us today that we Christians are about bringing walls down that separate us.

HEBREWS 12: 1-3 (Shelby) - There are the "official" saints of the Church. But when they lived and walked the earth were they any less holy or saintly? Who are the living saints before us today that inspire, encourage and bless our lives?

RANDOM WEDNESDAY- Each week we will reflect on God's Word that came to us in the places we work and play and eat and share life together. God continues to reveal Himself...sometimes in the most unlikely of places.
