Finally! My first presentation at Professional Development Day! Woo hoo! I was so nervous but so excited – and I learned SO much about the academic certificated personnel’s point of view with time management. And this got me all geared up about values and time management.
I was listening to the Amplify Your Success podcast with Melanie Benson this morning and something she said hit me up on the side of my head and that’s what I’m talking about in today’s show:
Time Management and Values
Some of the things I’m kicking around today:
What ARE your values, and do you have a mantra or a manifesto that supports your values?
Have you done a values assessment or exercise?
Time is valuable – time is money – time is fixed
Think of your most prized possessions – do you know their worth? Or have you put a value on them? How would you replace them if they went missing or were damaged?
Same with time – what you value most will be what you put your best efforts towards – and if you are finding that your favorite things are getting the least amount of time, then you need to make adjustments.
